Nice. There are loads more off piste trails that I have never seen on RU-vid. I've just bought a new action cam (DJI OSMO 4), so I may pop up and film some of them. They had not been ridden for some time by the looks of them.
Cheers Buddy. there's a lot up there I've filmed over the years, ru-vid.com/group/PLQKvXIvgBT8Gth1oopfXEiuyk4fLJwdPK&si=Hhrq4zIzUSluUfCL A lot of its gone, & as you say, some not ridden in a long time! Enjoy the DJI!!!
@TrailHuntingMTBeer I'm going to watch your playlist and see if any of the ones I am thinking about are featured. Looks like you know the place well. I understand there isn't much of a budget for MTB trails up at Haldon, but I always felt it could be so much more if they allowed pro trail builders a chance to build some trails.
Nice to see some VA trails that aren't all rock gardens. Is there any trails in the state that are more 'park' like, like with berms and flowy, small jumps (not red bull jumps, I like to continue living).
Only 2 of the trails were built by Dowie 😊 1 and 2.... 3, 4 and 5 by others 😂 World cup rider Charlie Hatton lives literally half a mile from the start of the trails
Cheers Buddy 👊. To be honest, there is so much variety in the terrain that you can have just about every surface going in one descent, they are long descents!!! Keeps you on your toes 😂. We booked the trip with BasqueMTB, so everything bar the flights was organised for us 👊
Thats a cool track, I'd really like to have a go at that ,although a lot slower...channels doing great...just looked at the stats ,900views this month ,thats good dude.
Cheers Steve, it was a beast of a trail, don't get descent that long in the UK, so you feel it!!! Not sure about the Channel stats TBH, kinda given up trying to work out the RU-vid algorithm 🤯😵💫😅
Good vid bud, so many more at Staunton and some gnarly stuff if you want it 😉 have a look at some of our vids, you may recognise some of the areas. Dont forget to subscribe 🤙
Definitely worth a visit Buddy. The start point is not too far from the main carpark. What 3 Words Location is "asleep.sharpened.goofy". This will take you to the exact location. Enjoy👊
Nice set of trails oin this one mate... Some real patches of steeps! Is this an "official Network" or just an amalgamation of known trails in a forest?
@@TrailHuntingMTBeer no I gave up, I take my kid biking with me so I can’t afford to get lost searching for spots - we just go Haldon , good tracks but not much adventure.
Love the videos on samoens. Going there next yr July. Wonder if there is a way up without taking the chairs . Going with my levo. Staying samoens so evening RDS
Cheers buddy 🍻. You can get to Samoens 1600 (top of the grand massif express lift, where these trails start) by road, I’d get 3 climbs up out of my Orbea Rise with a Range Extender. The lift will be running in July, personally I’d take the lift every time!!! Either way, it’s an awesome place to ride, enjoy 👊
The event is based in Allerford buddy, the Stages are around that area (Exmoor). I don't really know the area well enough to be able to be more specific, bloody good though!!!
