The maritime museums collection is in the most very dark puts me off going back there as both myself and the wife can’t read about the exhibits as for that useless rotating griddle which wasn’t working what a waste of money much prefer the old museum

Much better than the waterfont ....the old maritime museum was amazing then we got a Glass & Slate Void. So many interesting items have been lost from view and reside in storage... a real shame. The Oldest Museum in Wales.. ? Swansea has so many 1st's very good collection of video's Thank you.

Thank you! This was very interesting. Particularly to my mom and myself. David Gwyn John is a relative of ours and we were so pleased to be able to learn more about the cathedral where our family members gathered.(I am the daughter of Pamela (Jones), granddaughter of William John Jones, great-granddaughter of Alice Jane John, and great-great-granddaughter of John and Mary John. Thank you, David, for sharing the link information with my Auntie Jennifer.

Surely part of your family knew part of my family Thomas and Edith Joseph. I don't know how long ago but my guess is in the 1890's.

@@gwenblumenschein9892 Hello! Very likely, I think. John John and Mary John lived in Morriston through to the 1940s (I don't think they strayed far, at least.) David Gwyn is the son of their youngest son.

I love this Museum! Phil Treseder has got a lovely gentle, warm voice with a soft Welsh lilt. Well worth visiting this wonderful place particularly if you enjoy travelling back in time..

Well presented thanks. Where did they make a morgue during the blitz for the 100s of bodies?

This would be so good without the mumbling and fading volume of the narrator. He sounds laboured and bored :(

A very interesting and understandable film with comparable images that really allow one to see the changes forced upon the town.
