I absolutely agree about the Grand Legacy budget rooms. I would not stay in them at all. The Motel 6 Maingate rooms are better than the Legacy’s budget rooms (Motel 6 has laminate flooring as compared to the Legacy’s carpet floors). The Legacy is closer, but the Motel 6 is not that far (by the Sun Coast), cleaner than the Legacy’s budget rooms, and so, so much cheaper.
I also love the Disneyland Hotel pool recommendation. The cabana recommendation is definitely worth the splurge. The poolside food and drink service and the plentiful umbrellas are amazing. When it’s just my husband and I, we love the Palette Pool at the DLR.
Yay! Great to have you ladies back doing podcasts. Great tips packed into those 15 minutes. I know this can be a big trip for a lot of families, but it is so important to manage expectations, and just know that your kids feed off your energy. Kids won't know if you had to skip an attraction, heck we didn't go to Fantasyland for my kids' first 3 or 4 trips. And we still had the most magical time.
