No not at all. I believe the firing order helps and the exhaust size. Let me know what you think.

Had a symetrix 628 and ev mic. The 160/80 I had really had the rf. I have a 80/40 and it is limited to 1500. Same settings and audio chain.

brian Wade what year was that 160/80 built in? It can peak to 2kw I love it! W7ZAR and did you use anything else other then the 628?

@@danielpenaofficial4186 not sure. it was one of the 1st year or so he was selling them. dont have it anymore. wish would have kept it. I wanted 1khz steps so went with the new model. SWR is very touchy on the new one. The old one was a tank... didn't kickout as easy.
