Hey! We're Camillo and Anouk and we converted Dakar our 4x4 Mitsubishi Pajero into a camper. After we finished high school in the South of Germany in 2021 our car turned into our little home on four wheels that provides us with a cuddly bed, a gas stove, electricity and filtered running water. I guess that’s all you need for an adventure…
Now, we’re back home again and starting university. During our free time, we’re putting together videos of our last years on the road.
Our Journeys: 4 months in the Balkans and then we shipped to the Middle East 5 months in the Middle East 4 months in North Africa
We hope that our travel documentaries give you some nice insights into our journeys and the countries we passed! We made these videos for friends and family, travel lovers and maybe just for ourselves in a few years to remember our journey through moving images.
See you soon, Millo & Nouki :)

Such a beautiful video creation. Very well done friends. You have a new subscriber. I like your work and look forward to seeing more of your journeys. Good luck with your channel. 💕
Welcome Camillo and Anouk to Saudi Arabia. I think you will be lecturers to explain Saudi culture because it has become an expected issue, so there will be expected questions whose answers it is necessary to know. 1. Why are we Muslims? A Brief Illustrated Guide to Understanding Islam by I a Ibrahim The Last Prophet: Evidences for the Authenticity of Islam by Haitham Talaat The Final Prophet: Proof of the Prophethood of Muhammad by Mohammad Elshinawy Why the Companions Converted to Islam? Farid Al Bahraini The Qur'an: An Eternal Challenge, by Muhammad Abdullah Draz 2. What are the standards of rights, freedoms, and equality for both sexes between Islamic law and liberal laws? Freedoms, as long as they harm individuals and harm society, are no longer freedom. Therefore, adultery, sodomy, homosexuality, alcohol, pork, gambling, and usury are prohibited. We do not believe in gender equality in family law.Women have greater care rights than men, and men have greater responsibilities and tasks. For example, the mother is more important in companionship and friendship, and more important than the father three times in a row, and the fourth time is the father’s company. Raising and caring for two daughters and two sisters are among the reasons for entering Paradise, and this does not apply to raising two sons. A woman has the right not to work, and it is the duty of the father, husband, or brother to support her. Women have the right to work, divorce, marry, trade, etc. Perhaps the West's focus on the issue of women's clothing. Often Muslim women want to abide by the law of the Creator, so they want modest clothing. This is a divine law and not a matter of opinion and other opinions. This is the same thing that monastery women do by paying attention to modest clothing in their religion. For non-Muslim women in an Islamic country, public morals are supposed to be maintained because clothing in public places is subject to public taste and society’s freedom to see modest women and not women wearing clothes that arouse the instincts of men. These are points that explain the difference in our standards regarding the concept of equality, rights and freedoms.
Nice and true video.. Last week I just visited Oman (Muscat and Salalah) from Riyadh and used the same route by road. Desert is superb, but I would NOT recommend it for families especially if traveling at night. just imagine after the Batha border you are alone and desert only till the Oman border around 600+KM. There is only one gas station. During the drive most difficult is sand which comes on the road. Though I enjoyed this traveling but its horrible as well... that's why on my return from Salalah Oman I used Dubai road which is safer.
Thank you! Why that? Saudi, UAE, Oman etc. are really safe countries! Basically no crime and the most welcoming and nice people you could imagine. Way safer than Europe for example…
Great video, looks awesome :) Where do I find the backroads you were on in Bosnia in the landmine zone? And do you definitely need a 4x4 to take them or can an adventurer do it in a car or van?
Thank you! In the south of Bosnia, along the border to Croatia (we were near the border crossing Ivanica) are a lot of these small roads where the land mines have not been cleared yet. I would recommend a 4x4 you never know what obstacles you’ll encounter… Some will be fine with a normal car but I would advise against a van as some bends can be very tight and narrow. I’m sure there are nicer tracks in the region, we just drove off the main road to find a sleeping place and then continued the next day, nothing too special :)
Hey really enjoying your video, I would like to know more about your roof-deck, rear awning and your bike rack setup, ok about your whole setup if you don't mind ; ) I'm trying to mod my suv for overlanding so any details on how you did your roof deck and your bike rack and rear awning would be rally useful. Thanks and enjoy your travel.
Thank you very much! We already filmed a setup video but it will take a few more months until we'll upload. We first want to complete the middle east journey videos... :) Any specific questions we can already answer?
