I am installing the cord for the first time and need to know how long to leave the cord and where to start the tensioner on the rail. Thank you for your help, Larry
For your length if it’s installed on tile or hardwood do you add or subtract from the ordered length to the screw hole? Example if it’s ordered length is 100 do you install at 99 3/4?
I purchased HD luminette blinds for my patio windows. They are overpriced, flimsy, the operating controls are not adequate, they don’t close together tightly, fan out at the bottom. Everyone - investigate other options, other manufacturers. There has to better, more robust similar solutions that don’t cost an arm and a leg. Do your due diligence. HD Luminette is overrated and overpriced.

Thank you so much for making this video! It is exactly what I needed and really helped me out to fix my vertical blinds! Thumbs up left and many thanks to you!!!
PowerView automations used "Works with Nest" integration to detect home/away status. With that gone with Google's integration, does it use Google Home's home/away status instead? Also, I'm able to access the scenes with Google Assistant's routines, but not Google Home's. Will that feature be added?
dear HD, i tried to register my gen2 hub with my PV account and after multiple tries, still unable to get my hub registered. Same Network, Location turned on, reset hub before try register... etc all possible combination of factors already tried.. nothing works...
Useless. For someone who never used the app/set up hub/operated the shades this video is useless. I did not understand a single thing this dude talked about. He should not teach anything, just be an installer.
For an existing installation. What can I do if the shade is fully down and the battery is too depleted to open the blind to access to the battery wand or the installation screws?
How do I trouble shoot? I have followed this video and been trying to reset everything, I just keep getting a message at the bottom of Google Home App saying 'something went wrong, try again later' ??
I think the solution is that you have to have a Gmail account linked to your PowerView hub registration. Once I did this it fixed the ‘something went wrong’ issue.
