This is such a useful video. I hate seeing professionals doing the job quickly because that’s not helpful to someone doing it themselves. I think I’ll have a lot of miss cuts even with the corner guide. I’m going be using a mitre box and a really fine Japanese pull saw :)

I bought secondhand evandale and it works without issue, but there is constant bubbly noise. I opened the cover and transducer were spitting water like crazy, the bubbly noise is from him. As everybody is saying that it should be silent with only ocassional water flow from the tank, I know somewhere is problem. Do you have an idea? Is transducer bad? Mist creation is on point i would say
@LivinganOrganisedLife
@LivinganOrganisedLife 2 дня назад
Hi, I would suggest replacing the transducer disc first. I shared a video about how to do this recently: Optimyst - How to replace the transducer disc to get your mist working! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NRAkZtt0SmQ.html If that doesn’t work, the next step would be replacing the whole transducer. I would suggest using genuine parts as non genuine parts can damage your fire. Here’s a link to Electricspares who provide genuine parts and free technical advice: Electricspares Dimplex Optimyst Spares - replacement parts: electricspares.co.uk/popular-dimplex-opti-myst-spares/?wpam_id=5 Let me know how you get on!

Great! I like your renovations tips very much ! Have you consider to reuse black carpet edge? I believe it could be glued around landing :) Your projects are super and inspiring. I found your account when I was looking how to fit my rug- exactly the same one from Dunelm. I did rug on landing also and painted floor around in strips black and beige colors, silly me I could do same thing like you! Thanks for your inspirations!

Thank you for commenting!! Yes I did think about adding the black edge but decided against it. I thought it might look strange with the transitions too. I love an achievable budget diy plus if I change my mind I can easily change the rug!! Thanks for subscribing Heather ☺️

Hi Deborah, this is absolutely stunning! If I had a dollar for every time that I've said your talent knows no bounds, I'd be a millionaire! You are just amazing. @@LivinganOrganisedLife we’re contemplating having new granite worktops in the kitchen. We have granite already but it’s black and we’d prefer a lighter one. It was here when we bought the house but we can’t quite make up our minds whether to make such an extravagant change that isn’t really necessary.
@LivinganOrganisedLife
@LivinganOrganisedLife 6 дней назад
I think if it’s nagging you then why not make the change? We spend so much time in our kitchens don’t we so it might as well be beautiful. I might regret it but we’re having another wooden surface on the island 😬 I’ll be constantly putting out coasters 🤣

Hi Pauline, I think the assembly looks similar to mine. Perhaps take lots of photos as you take out the old fan so you can copy the connections to the new one?
