Hello, I'm Tidmouth Yard Studios! Just another Thomas community member. On my channel, you'll find videos with Wooden Railway, customs and just random videos from time to time. Hope you enjoy your time here!
Great adaptation of said-episode (some parts of it do remind me of my own adaptation of it in my series though the crash I did w/ Rebecca was different compared to this). I laughed at when Rebecca mistook Edward's warning of 'troublesome' to 'chucklesome', as well as the trucks being dumbfounded when she laughed at their joke.
Asking them to make CGI faces for the ones that have model era faces is the most backward thing I've heard. The CGI versions ARE the problem. CGI faces for CGI characters, fine. But the classic era faces are perfect, aside from the three you mentioned which I agree need changing. But not to CGI! Model era is superior in every way and they're the definitive versions of those characters. The CGI faces are lifeless in comparison despite actually moving!
I bought the Thomas w/Annie and Clarabel. To me, its THE biggest thing I've always wanted since I was a kid. For someone who grew up with Thomas since 1989, it was something I wanted. I had to save for it, but I am glad to have it.
What a liar that Bachmann spokesman is. Adults are the ones buying Bachmann models. BoCo, Duke, and Stepney are wanted by the majority of the Bachmann Thomas customers. Bachmann are being told by Mattel what to do. Yet they're acting like it's their decision. They KNOW they'd make a killing on BoCo and others. They did Beau for crying out loud. He's relevant to no one other than those who like his design. He's far from a popular character. He appeared once for two minutes so their entire argument goes out the window.
Doug is not a liar. They’re obviously not going to say that Mattel said no to engines who didn’t appear in CGI out loud online. He did say they wanted to do Stepney, and I bet they would have announced him by now if they were allowed to make him. And btw, whose to say that kids don’t start modelling railways at a young age? And as for Beau, could could literally say the same thing about some of the non-CGI characters like Lady or Hank and yet people still think Bachmann should make them. So it’s okay if Bachmann makes Hank but not Beau despite practically having just as much of an impact on the show. What sense does that make? Kids would likely be more familiar with Beau compared to Stepney or BoCo since they’re more likely to watch the CGI series nowadays than the model series.
I chuckled at when Rebecca called Gordon "Big G" and the latter not being used to it (given the numerous times he's been given bad nicknames in the past).
Haha it's great that you use a wood Rebecca to represent a scrap one ha very funny joke hehe.... uuuuuuuuh you will make a custom Rebecca or buy the 2023 version *right?* I'm no offense to your budgets or preference but still.... Also great story
@@TidmouthYardStudios no it's a what model you detailed a bit still could do with a custom you know something as long as Gordon like Thomas wooden railway
@@StationFilms12345 go to 0:24 of the video i’ve sent you and seriously tell me that the model i am using is the wood model and not a custom ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YuMj9zEp6ng.htmlsi=TUb-QVGmfgYQ-Sdz
So far a great start to the saga! This does remind me of Bear's Discovery from my own series (which also involves Rebecca getting saved and brought to Sodor, except Bear is her rescuer) and also a bit of Oliver to the Rescue where Oliver repays the favor and conquering his fear of scrapyards. I also like the set up of Gordon's struggles w/ the constant heavy Express workload and the Sodor Airport (which does bring more international visitors to the Island).
Admittedly, I think the Coolprops replicas are interesting, but the biggest "no" for me about them is they're static. For that kinda money, I'd at least like to be able to run it and pull trains. What I'd really like is one of the Scottish twins, as they were always my favorites. Again, would rather have a runner to go on my garden railway than a perfect prop replica.
