@@glennverano4900 this is what google maps is showing me, Emlagh beach Clifden. That is the beach where we camp and swim, but the part where we walked around to explore is on the left of that beach you can only walk there when the tide is down otherwise it won’t look like on the video because it’s full of water. That area is after the house with the horses on the left. I hope this helps
I bet this video will get a lot more views now as the algorithm has picked up on the same area as jay slater and put up on mine and obviously other suggestions. Good video I enjoy these kind of videos I’ll be watching more 💯👌
Paying a guide for a hike on a fully marked path, even with good stairs in part, that is not my cup of tea at all. Wearing a hard hat in an gorge is simply silly: If anything hit you from above, it would do you absolutely no good anyway, but you may get a nicely cooked head in the heat in a bottom of a gorge wearing such a thing. I will pass and take my hiking somewhere else!
👍🏽 it’s definitely better for some people to remain cautious rather than take risks, we can’t all be the same and I’m sure you have fun in your own way even though you keep it safe.
im borrowing your video to mirror it ill give you full credit and name your channel, its in relation to the jay slater case its a very interesting look at the terrain and other things the cafe, how busy it was, and was a good watch you should have more subscribers, if you mind ill remove it
Jay was supposedly in Juan Lopez Barranco, not this one. There is a video of experienced hikers slipping and sliding their way down, losing their way. No way was Jay there, would have fallen after five minutes.
La Oratava much nicer. Puerto has become to known for drunks and filth. Potholes everywhere, and the local politicians rent out public parking to private venues to line their own pockets.
They shouldn't. The rules are ridiculous, and I by the way do own fancy hiking boots, because I hike all the time. But, even I can not see, why you should not be able to hike in a pair of good trainers just as well.
The hike is only allowed at the Weekend! so Jay Slater would have been totally alone going down that path, if he did go down it. It would not surprise me if he was made to walk down and then pushed to his death.
@@eddiemclaughlin-e2m I guess it looks difficult to walk there but not impossible but Jay was up all night and perhaps intoxicated and he was a bit dizzy too as he needed water so it definitely would be deadly to him. RIP boy
Lovely video 😊 I'll be travelling too and from Riga in September and torn between visiting Tallinn in Estonia or Vilnius (I think I'd run out of time to do both in 2 weeks and get back to Riga). I'm leaning towards Vilnus now as there's some interesting looking attractions and forests just outside Vilnus. Happy travels to you. 🙂
@@DominoSprite thanks so much for the lovely comment. I would definitely recommend Vilnius, it’s a beautiful city and in the old town there is really a lot to see. Never been in Riga so not sure how it is, but wherever you decide I believe you will have a good time 😊 Enjoy
Thank you for filming your hike, it was a pleasure to join you. What an incredible place, such a stunning place. I can only imagine how much more difficult the trek back is especially in the heat of the day. You did exceptionally well 👏
