In our company, we are engaged in refurbishing, repairing and assembling Li-Ion batteries into various devices, as well as manufacturing batteries according to requirements.
We will be adding videos from our work and projects to our new channel.
We hope you enjoy our videos and would be grateful for any support.
Hello. Do you need to solder the minus at the beginning, then the plugin and at the end plus? I heard that BMS is stupid if you don't do it in this order.
pas terrible manque de precision il faudrait faire voir la face soudée et la face opposée un petit peu de paroles serait le bienvenu !!! mais bon : c'est gratuit
You need security Torx heads to remove the screws. To release the two little covers for the screws, a good idea to lift up with a chisel from below. I cant see any way to remove these without some damage.
Hi. Is there a way to "unblock" a blocked BMS on Shimano Steps, or will replacing the dead cells with new ones reactivate the BMS? I'm interested in repairing the battery for a Shimano Steps BT-E6010. Thanks!
Thanks for this. Mine needed a head repair and other videos were showing a different model. It seems like Philips are pretty intent on making the insides of their toothbrushes harder to access and repair.
I had a very unpleasant experience. A client of mine, brought the functional battery and I in my tests I endeavored the battery! My tests consisted of checking the full capacity of the pack before balanced, which in the case measured 10.6Ah and how much capacity would have after the active balance. In the case measured 12.5Ah after the test. The stress range, from 2.5 to 4.2V by cell. Never do this with BMS on, to do this test I should have removed BMS like Mcellbatteris said! Anyway ... living and learning. Congratulations on your video, very good!
My only suggestion will be to add the gasket insulator same you use on the side of the battery on the top and bottom or fiber glass insulators. Other than that looks amazing.
Thanks for comment. Yep, today we use fishpaper for all sides, battery pack is wraped to shrinkable foil like in video but on sides we use insulator glue for waterproof efect.
Hi, I have a problem with my V60 MY 2020 plugin hybrid. The battery do not charching and turtle appears while driving, reducing power and switch out the EV battery. I'm waiting for maintenance now, diagnostic result are shown the foult code: Hybrid/EV battery cell balancing circuit E range/performance.
Hi, great video. i enjoyed it immensely. I have a Volvo XC90 T8 2017 model with the 10.4kw/h battery and i would like to replace it with the 2021/22 18.4kw/h battery removed from a salvage car. Is this possible? And if yes can the electric motor also be upgraded with the new 2021/22 one?
Thanks for comment. This video was created 3 years ago. Today we are far away from this quality. We use lasers for custom busbars, DLP and FDM 3D printers fór custom holders and bodies and lot of more.
@@mcells_batteries my battery is charged to 29.4V. The BMS is like yours, but it turns off for some reason when the battery is discharged to 25V. can it be a faulty BMS?
Hi, sure but all battery types has positive sides and negative sides. Pouch cells have better heat dissipation space using, current. But yes, they are swelling and is there higher chance to runaway.
Hi, thanks for your comment. Those cells holders and nickel strips are our custom made. If you are interest, please contact us on info@mcells.sk Team M-Cells Batteries
This is just a seven cell, 24v battery, butt three wide, yeah? Off of the same bms. I was unaware you could do that. Excellent. I need some fat-assed batteries for the boy's electric scooter. Thank you random stranger!
I must have done something wrong. The machine starts only while charging and then wont stop until not being charged anymore. Anyone have a solution for this?
Next time, build a rig for the soldering job. holding the T-Connectors is better as soldering them on the table - thats not a good solder job here. dont do this like shown here ^^
Red light signals motor blocked, nozzle blocked or wont charge, so it can be anything… just replace entire handheld unit and you dont need to solder anything and you get new motor and PCB as bonus (new handheld unit cost around 50€) 👌
A physical barrier more than kapton tape would be preferred for the BMS/balance cables. Something like barley paper but this is a really minor thing to point out. The fact that you're using kapton paper is enough honestly, RU-vid is full of Indian kids using cells that look like they died 10 years ago and have been rusting away at the bottom of a river ever since, put together with zero capacity, IR testing, no balancing is done prior to assembly they don't even look at cell voltages and then they solder some random wire to the terminals and call it a day. Followed by 1200 comments saying "Genius boss you are great. I wish one day to build battery like you" Ehhh 20 seconds later the barley paper comes out! This is a quality build, just don't use the Smart Daly BMS's. The dumb ones are just fine though, good price and they work.
Hi, thanks for your comment :D This build was build 2 years ago, so today we use fishpaper for basic insulation between cells and balance wires. We learn from other and sure from our mistakes and aplicate it in next builds. Today we build our own busbars, our holders, 3D projects etc. but it was long way and i think that it will be much longer :)
