Resilience Symposium 2022: In Awe of Space - learn about awe and resilience from space experts because everyone deserves to have positive mental health and that certainly includes you.
A mindfulness book called 30 Days to Overcome Suicidal Thoughts by Harper Daniels has been helpful for many. It teaches mindfulness exercises to destigmatize tge thoughts and remove the shame.
Thanks Jeff, I heard you speaking recently at the Mediation and Mental Health conference. I am very impressed with the ideas and grateful for sharing this passion and practice. Imagine a world where awe is linked to the preciousness of our human lives and of each other.... ❤
I love this topic! I truly believe that you're onto a great venture with this. Visualization can do so much overall, physically & mentally, to calm the nerves and the soul. I'm actually writing a paper about this so I'll be referring to some of your research. Thank you!
Facing HIV was the hardest time of my life, am so happy i found Dr Awo on RU-vid and the herbs he sent to me realy cured me, just click on Drawoherbs@gmail.com
I'm looking forward to hearing more about this. As a resident of Southern Arizona for 11 years, there are so many options to get out there and be in Awe of the landscape & sky/sunsets that just helps everything else to seem less important. There's nothing that compares to hiking up a mountain, knowing you've achieved something great, and looking over our great country.
I truly believe in the 'stop, look, & listen' type of mindfulness & getting out in nature to heal and build resilience. As a veteran, I have tried this for years for myself, and with my kids, to get through some difficult days. Thanks!
When I was in boot camp, our last road march started at 02:00. So it was quiet and dark, our spacing was 15 meters apart. So for all intents and purposes nobody was around to break my mind wandering, the sky was intensely big and the stars felt tangible. For a while I was tired and it was the only time ive ever fallen asleep walking. Its also the only time ive felt an intense state of awe in an otherwise uneventful walk.
My son Jaylen Brooker is her grandson. He has been missing with his father Michael Brooker. No one will help me find them. Noone has heard from Michael or Jaylen. Follow me on Facebook. Britney Brooker. Anyone with any information please reach out to me!
I am writing a paper for my Master's program about the resilience techniques available for First responders. I'm really enjoying the seminar I'm trying to listen to all of the sessions as soon as I can! Thank you for putting this together and putting on RU-vid.
Thank you Sgt. Gibson for sharing your story, and your information. I am proud of you as a police sister for your bravery by standing up bringing your personal experience out so you can help others. We must get you to come over here to talk about your experiences and knowledge on officer wellness, or whatever you want to talk about. Just as long as you bring that accent with you! Good job and again THANK YOU!
This is such valuable information and I love where things are going with the peer-to-peer and train the trainer aspects. It's so important that people get counseling and support from people who know what they've actually been through. Thank you for providing this & free of cost. How can families create support groups for their local communities of First responders?
