A channel for uploading old videos of baby Apollo and unedited to minimally edited footage of Apollo talking. As the footage can be hours long in many cases we decided to make a separate channel for things that aren’t good enough for the main channel, but are still worth posting.
Maybe like many children do he likes to say errors due to the higher playful nature these birds are found all over internet videos saying errors. Successful parents use a stearn voice teaching correctly saying until they accept the way to say things. It’s as if he needs laughing to relate to his team and since they say hello and goodbye it might be how he asks of you also due to birds higher emotive responses coupled with the rest. Also he says the correct numbers and then the wrong words and numbers and said bad bird.But just as three year old and older children see imagination as coupled to reality he will easily say things and mimicry as if the items are present mixing up this and that as if it is a game and not serious 🧐 have fun laugh he will love that too🩷💜💜💔💔❣️💓🏆
whenever apollo's speaking gets less distinct, he sounds a lot like conversations when my auditory processing disorder is acting up lol i absolutely love him ❤❤ he sounds like if my cockatiel hit puberty and had his voice drop
I just want to let Apollo's owners know that I absolutely love this adorable bird. Your videos of him and his adorable antics, with his little sisters, and his genius, brought me so much joy - and I loved how wholesome and previously family-friendly your videos were. Congratulations on getting a world record, too! I was going to buy that book just for Apollo and you guys giving him so much love! I remember a livestream were Dalton mentioned that Apollo rarely said another minor curse word when something dropped loudly, and that it was always edited out of any video if he said it on camera. There are a lot of foul-mouthed parrots on YT, and Apollo wasn't one of them - until now. Now, I can't watch Apollo videos without remembering him say this vulgarity... I don't watch him anymore... You can post whatever you like, and I didn't mean to sound bossy. I know it was "accidental", but I know a lot of children who watch Apollo... Very obscure title, also. Was pretty shocking when I clicked on it in my subscription feed and heard him spout it off. Yikes... Title could have been: "Baby Apollo using FOWL Language!? 🤬" just as a warning. Either way, it's just really sad, imo. I didn't think you would post something like this.
He reminds me, a non native speaker (living in a country with another language), of myself just randomly talking to myself in english, just because it's fun 😊
I do the exact same thing! not for modern english specifically as I'm a native speaker, but I definitely just spout random words in middle english, welsh, afrikaans, etc.. sometimes the words just sound _fun_. other times you've just got to practise pronouncing them! (middle english is what was spoken between about 1100 and 1500 btw ☻)
I wonder if Tori and Dalton ever notice Apollo speaking/making sounds in other people's voices. Of course i know he mimics a variety of sounds, human and otherwise, but parrots don't tend to meet that many people regularly. Sometimes i think i hear him speak with a voice that doesn't sound like his own, Dalton's or Tori's voice. No idea how often they have other people around, but at least these last few weeks there has been the ~mysterious~ cameraman present during the livestreams, my guess is that it's entirely possible that he might start mimicking their voice, although the sounds they make might (?) not be as interesting to him as Tori and Dalton's sounds are.
Apollo obviously loves his mates he makes so many family sounds to the air signaling he is part of the family of the humans as he emulates them and part of the two parroletts. All this talking is so charming thanks for sharing ☄️🌟✨⚡️🍆🥦🫐🍉🍋🥥🥕🧅🧄🫚🥯🥯🍫🍮🍮🍮🍿🎂🍨🍨
in my experience (albeit with parakeets, not parrots or parrotlets), they usually sleep about the same as humans; dusk to dawn, with dusk being whenever you put them to bed. but my birds tend to also nap any time between 12pm and 2pm as well. they like their siestas and they will get grouchy if you wake them up 😂
