Hi i have been trying to find an accredited cardiac sonography school or college in USA. I am ready to relocate too . Can you share some of the colleges that provide this course. It would be great if anyone could mention the colleges in new york , Texas etc..please help me
this why i hate the medical field. its complete emotional neglect and they teach u to be so emotionally removed and dont emotionally support the person u r working with. it hurt me a lot thinking im never enough and they just want to withhold information from me to make me suffer. cruel and these people r so cold
I have a low gpa wanting to apply to the program after I take the required courses but with my academic & financial aid history idk if that’s possible. What else could I major in that would complement sonography & doesn’t have special admission requirements? I would have to do a sonography program after my bachelors.
Hey! Do you have any tips for wrist pain? I have no idea what I’m doin wrong but this has never happened until recently. How should one fix that ergonomically?
I am enrolling into an RDMS program in January and I know this career is for me, us having the same exact name (Cierra Brie’ana) is just a little God wink for me. Thank you for this♥️
Waitttt a minute!!!! The sonographers are not obliged to read the images ??? I mean, I thought that was the complex and difficult part for the students.😂 omggg
Yes, we write up reports on our findings, but the radiologist is who puts the final impression/report for the patient. Sonographer’s reports are just for the doctor to read.
Most people have an associates or bachelors degree. If you don’t have a degree then you may take a certificate program that bridges you over with a associates degree upon graduating
They may be different depending on what school you attend. If you research some ultrasound schools websites and they should have a list of prerequisites on there
Thank You for this video! Question, The Sonography school that is a commutable distance to me is a non-accredited one. It's been around for 40+ years, and it has good reviews. Will it be hard for me to get a job graduating from a non-accredited school or is getting the registry what matters?
I have a question do you recommend me doing radiology school and then ultrasound for better job opportunity like how MRI is most hospital where the big pay need you to have a radiology tech degree even if you have MRI degree?
Rad tech and sonography are two completely different roles. If you’re looking to go into MRI, normally a “pre-req” is having completed a rad tech program.
Thank you for making this video. You explained everything so well and professional, you can definitely tell the compassion you have and your patients are lucky to get you!
Thank you for this video. Your honesty and craft is greatly appreciated and helpful for many people looking into this career path! I’m 21 currently working in a warehouse setting and I’m looking to pivot and find a career path before it’s too late bcuz everyone is telling me my 20’s fly by 😬😬 At first I was against anything within the healthcare industry, but your videos are opening my mind up .🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾
1. blood test, CPR 2. scan everything 3. can't get perfect pic in one go 4. takes time -need to go through multiple motions 5. a lot of case studies , readings 6. a lot of physics 7. radiologists put a lot of trusts in you
Thank you for this , I am going into clinicals next week and all I can think about is this SPI exam 😅 I know it’s a bit of a stretch away but I also know times flies . Thanks again!
I have clinical in jan, would you mind making a video of tips & things you wish people told you in before going in for clinical? I’m so terrified for them
