I’m pretty sure my stylus is broke Becuase it literally won’t snap into place. Hopefully it’s just the stylus that’s broken otherwise I’m gonna have to buy a new cartridge 😃
Hell yeah I got my copy and it sounds awesome like you are at the studio, and at normal volume you normally put it sounds amazing! And the gaps are quiet!!! I love it! I use an lp60x and I can hear a great difference!!!
I have a 70s receiver and it has one set of output jacks and the other says tape out. The only other connections are for speakers. How would I connect an amp like this to the turntable and receiver?
@StillSpinning3 None. It's a Marantz twenty-three. It's just the Tuner from what I can see, and I noticed it doesn't have speaker connections. I thought the connections were for speakers, but they're antenna connections. I'm thinking this Tuner connects directly to an amp or conteol with speaker connections via the output jacks?
Speechless! Thought that my record was supposed to be like that for the longest time and just put it down to being a weird design choice. It actually had both the a side and v side labels on top of the actual label.
@@StillSpinning3 great! Uh, I think the first step is getting a new needle cartridge. Aside from that, how would you go about troubleshooting between the record player, the stereo, and the speakers?
Just found this video and I thought it would help my problem with the auto return. I was hopping that by adjusting the starting position that my sl-q300 would automatically return at the end of a record. Unfortunately no luck. It returns when I play 45's but only 1 out of 100 33's. Is there a adjustment for the end postion.
@@StillSpinning3Then your measurement of the VTF is giving you a false reading. You should always take off the bias (anti-skating) before setting/reading the VTF....and then add it after. The correct tracking weight is only achieved with bias when the counteracting force inward is applied with the stylus in a moving record groove.
That Pearl Jam is def from 94, cause it has the clear sticker, that says Pearl Jam. The 2nd pressing is exactly the same, but no sticker. I bought both back in the day
What happens when you buy a pre amp and plug everything as you say and still no sound. I have an 80s turntable technique and a newer Sony stereo system and no sound any help would be greatly appreciated.
Paid 15$ for a replacement cartridge, when I tried to place it in, the needle fell out. I'm done. I got some vinyl, a used sony ps-lx300usb but I'm losing my sanity. Gonna give it a rest for now.
@@StillSpinning3 Allegro, a Polish version of Amazon. Lots of stuff there. And it's the best shopping site in Poland. Now I have an original one from AT and it didn't fall out. I didn't get the AT3600L at first because I had no idea that it was compatible with my turntable. Can't really return the broken one because the refund policy for this product was set to very strict. Well I could try, but the chances of winning this one are very low, because I have opened it and it happened when I was using it - installing it.
@@StillSpinning3 Yes indeed! Too bad for me though, I didn't *_get back_* into vinyl until about two years ago, buying it now is not going to happen at current prices. I jumped on the Stones vinyl mono box set though, it'll never get as expensive as the Beatles box set but the prices have doubled from what I paid ($200 USD).
