I don’t know how the 2016 is, but I had 2 bottles of the 2015, and that was pure gold, tasty and rich. When I tried to buy more, they were sold out so I bought the 2016.
Kevin we met some years back, maybe 2017 or 18 near Betws-y-Coed at Tan-Y-Foel Country house. My wife and I were staying with Rita and Chris, you were there with a lady friend. You brought a wonderful Red Wine that we all shared one evening. I didn't write down the name and I would hope you may remember the evening and the wine. We both thought it was the best red we had ever tasted and wish we could remember the name. If you remember the evening and the wine please share it with us. Ken and Sandy
Just bought a bottle. Drinking it now.... absolutely my new favorite! I looked on internet to see if it was the same guy/company that has the tomatoes everyone loves.
I love montepulciano d’abruzzo my family is from this region and I first tasted it there. Since coming home I have tried a good number of them that I can acquire locally. I found a bottle of this for $10 at my local Italian grocery store and it’s my favorite so far for the price. I’m curious if you have found any others you like that are moderately priced? $25 or less?
Very Quick response from Perez Cruz: Thank you very much for the information you give us. For us it is very important that our clients become part through their comments and recommendations. Indeed, our Cabernet Sauvignon Gran Reserva is light and this characteristic is enhanced very well at lower temperatures. It makes it a kinder and more versatile wine for different occasions. Regarding the lack of information on the web, we are working to include better tasting sheets to better complement the consumer experience. Kind regards, María Paz
Hello thanks for having the wine maker on. What temp do you recommend drinking the Can Sav Reserva at? I had a bottle of the 2019, and found that it was quite flabby and alcoholic at 15c, but at a cooler temp 9 to 11c it was lovely. Their web page does not have any recommendations or info on temp or decanting. I found decanting for an 1hour did not make much of a difference in taste, but the temp was key to a better flavor.
This wine remindes me of the time when i was a teenager and listening metal music with my friends in the park while mixing smederevka with sparkling water and eating smoki... good times
Malvasia Nera is Tempranillo. Love the combination of cherry and kind of a pipe tobacco spiciness... That makes any sense lol. Thanks for the vid! Cheers!
interesting I'm trying a Riverina Durif, right now. One i bought at Aldi."ventures series" 2020. I'm a shiraz drinker usually and that from McLaren vale and Barossa. I think this is a bit too cold to enjoy. LOL Melbourne Room temp being 10C
What a treat! Thanks for inviting me into your home and introducing me to a great wine. It's so rare to see someone express the sheer hedonism that a great wine can engender: you truly have brought sexy back to wine drinking. Your reviews are so enthusiastic and I love that you present wines that you are so keen on drinking: no scoring, just your recommendation for what you are going to drink tonight and what you are going to prepare for your dinner. Brilliant. Great website also. I'm only sorry that living in New York I can't order your marvelous selection of wines. Cheers.
Thank you for those lovely words. I try to do all that you say and more. Wine is about fun, memories and stories and the wines I sell combine all of these essential elements
@@MajesticKevin Well, bought the reds and the rosés; 2 bottle deep into the Rosé set, and so far so very good! Some beautiful bottles, too! Is that odd to say that?
Berton’s wines are very good indeed. Recommended. P.S. My lovely wife just confused you, Kevin, with the main character in Next (Disney+) who is losing his marbles!! 😀😀
