only internal resistance provides an idea of the true health of the battery. you cant play god with that. Been working on batts for the past 2 decades.
It should be noted that AGM batteries cannot do this. Yes, they're sealed, but they are different. Also, full ventilation is required when doing this. Battery fumes are not the thing you want in your lungs. There are times this will not work, so be prepared for mixed results. The type of charger and the charge amount make a difference. There are also times a battery will "wake up" but not last. It'll require very frequent charging. Use distilled water AND keep ordinary water right next to you in case ANY acid or mixed water spills on you, even your clothes. RINCE IMMEDIATELY!
Rainwater=NO, Distilled water=YES ! Impurities in the air equals pollution. Distilled water is the purest water for a battery. A dead battery will never act as new no matter what the battery Voltage and Amp rating it started with. At best, you will get a somewhat dimnished capacity for shorter time.
IMPORTANT: Don't over fill the battery or you will make a mess and loose allot of your electrolyte when charging. THE WATER LEVEL SHOULD JUST COME UP TO THE TOP OF THE PLATES AND NOT OVER. This system of recovery works... Thank You,

If you have a smart charger it wont start charge below 11 volt. Use a second full battery to get the old battery to 10.8 - 11 volt before connecting it to your smart battery charger. Or hook it up to your car battery and let it run for 15 minutes... Plus on plus - minus on minus...
Complete bullshit. I watched 10 of these similar videos, and nobody shows you a proper load test. The trick is that this way they can recover the Voltage somewhat, but not capacity. They show you a Voltage test, maybe a very ligth load for a coupe seconds, but never a proper load (60-70watts at least).
Please I am trying to understand he used only rain water, which he poured into the battery containers, I have seen other videos with stated battery acid to be used. Is this water method right ? Also if I don't have a pimp charger, can I just place it back in the UPS to charge ?
I have 2 6V 1.2ah batteries from 2007. They were empty so I filled them with distilled water and charger as you said. Charger says they are charging properly. I used a 3cc with needle to fill with. Worked beautifully. Took a lot of water😱😱 Thank you and wish me luck.😅. I

I just started this process. I got a 1500w inverter. 2g 20ft jumper cables at harbor freight, the jumper cables were the same price as a 6ft 2g cable for the inverter but I got 20ft with the jumpers, cut the ends off but left enough wire to add a connector end if needed for something. I used the 20ft cable then that is 2g to run from my main battery to a backup battery in the back of the truck inside. I added a jumper from the one back up battery to a second one so I will be stopping off two backups. I added quick disconnect switch on the first backup battery and the main battery. I can keep them charging when driving but when stopped hit the quick disconnect and use the jumper cable from second to third battery to run the inverter. Wing not style hold downs. The main quick disconnect on main battery is for extra "if needed".
