Hi, my name is Deeva and I love to eat! I’m a 21 year old law student & travel/food blogger based in Canada but I’m originally from Pakistan. I immigrated to Canada when I was 12 years old and was quickly intrigued by all of the different cuisines available for me to try. The diversity in Canada was fascinating to me as I had never been exposed to so many cuisines all in one place. I learned at a young age that food is one of the greatest ways to connect with other people and experience a new culture so I started using food to connect with people and make new friends. Seeing people smile when they try food I grew up eating or seeing someone else smile when I try food from their country of origin is one of my favorite things in the whole world and is ultimately what fed my passion and inspired me to become a food/travel blogger. I'm on a mission to try as many different cuisines to explore not only the food but also gain a better understanding of the culture.
we took your recommondation to try the fermented cabbage fish soup at hong mere and honestly it was nothing buit salt and lemon.probably one of the worst soups ever
The green cabbage soup is nuts, i always order it at Hong Mere. I make it at home too, hehehehe, but yeah, Hong Mere is one of the best North East style Chinese joints in town! Wellington is not my favorite street for food in Montreal, but there is some serious joints for sure!
Great video, finally a MTL video that does not features the played out, Schwartz, Banquise, St Viateur Bagel, etc... There is so many restaurants to explore in the city, from so many different countries. I am eating Sabor Latino colombian Chorizo Tacos while watching this! Cheers! -Oily-EF
couldn't help give you small comments, its very attractive and funny for introduce. In cantoon shrimp dumpling normally dressing a little source, no special , leger flavor soy sauce could be. but frankly, shrimp dumpling is not suitable for food Hala。
I found your channel and it's really some nice content seriously! If you want to know some other restaurants of latin america in Montreal let me know I know a bunch of them and it would be cool to share some food experience with another fellow montrealer :D
my nephew and I are visiting Montreal next month for one week, his "pre senior year" trip...we're from Michigan ...we're both very excited to visit!! We'll definitely be checking out Welldun pizza , and Bossa for a few sandwiches before heading to Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery...love your enthusiasm for food!!...and your music choices were excellent!
Gotta agree! I liked Napoli the most as well in my trips in Italy, I've been to Rome, Venice and Palermo but certainly had an amazing trip in Naples. Not lucky enough to encounter a good neopolitan pizza though but have found a good pizza Margherita 🤌🏻
Pizza in Rome is better in my opinion, you probably went to the wrong places, there are a lot of fake pizzerias in Rome that are ran by Arabs, avoid those at all costs. Next time you're in Rome, go to a place called La Pratolina, make a reservation, it's the best pizza in the world
Hmm, been to Naples and in Rome recently and I've had a bad and great pizza in Naples I gotta say. How I wish I've tried a pizza in my trip to Rome too
Love your video review on some of the great Chinese food spots in Montreal. You're right that there are many great Chinese restaurants in the city to choose from to pin down as the best, but may I suggest a place to try and video review if ever you're in Montreal craving for Chinese. A place called 'Wing Phat' in the Pie-IX area is probably thee best Chinese restaurant in the city imo, as far as selctions, prices, quality, and service are concerned. You don't have to take my word for it and I would be interested to know your honest opinions about the place, but I can guarantee you won't be disappointed. Cheers and take care. 👍
I stayed at Hotel Villa Fontaine in Roppongi and had a really great experience, my room was spacious and overall I would definitely recommend the hotel. I think Roppongi is also a pretty good area of the city to stay in because it is quite centrally located so its easy to get everywhere!
ONE GREAT DIFFERENT SMOKED MEAT PLACE IS "BLACK STRAP" AND IT'S AMAZING. IT'S ON RIELLE AND WELLINGTON! WHAT IS REALLY COOL IS WELLINGTON IS BLOCKED OFF TO ALL TRAFFIC IN JUNE AND WE CAN HAVE A BLAST WALKING ALL ALONG IT !!
