I was finally able to make this earlier and they turned out perfect!!! Thank you so much!! I used almond milk + 1 tbsp lemon juice for the buttermilk and it worked out well. Thank you so much!
Hello! I have tried the recipe and it was soft and fluffy! But my top just don’t turn golden brown and crisp up even though I have placed at the 2nd upper rack. Any suggestion on how I can crisp up the top without drying the inside of the muffins? Thank you!
Hi Ling, does your oven have a convection setting? If so, bake at 350F convection for the last 5 minutes and the circulating hot air will help it brown and crisp up.
Just tried ur recipe I used coconut oil instead and put 40grns less sugar using baking soda - added chocolate chips in the batter - now in the oven / here goes nothing!
Hi Lily, I Love this Recipe. I do have a Question though... if I do Not have any heavy whipping cream could I Possibly use Cool Whip instead??? I'd Really Appreciate the answer as soon as Possible, because it's my husband's birthday Very Soon and this is his Favorite Pie. I'm Desperately wanting to make this for him but like I said, I only have Cool Whip and I Live Very Far away from a Grocery Store. Otherwise I'd just go get it! Lol😆!!!!! Thank You Very Much!!! And I also want to Thank You for sharing Your Recipes with all of Us who are Interested!!! You're the BEST!!!🥰💜🎂🥧🍰🧁🍦🍨🍩💞
Thank you and my sincerest apologies for the late reply. I was not notified of your comment but yes, you can use cool whip in a pinch. Enjoy and hopefully I did not miss your husband's birthday!
This is the best non-bake cheesecake recipe I’ve found. Thank you for sharing your simple and easy recipe! I don’t like butter in my crust so I substitute it for coconut oil and it’s still equally as amazing🙌🏼
This recipe is great! I didn't have whole milk at the time so I use evaporated milk,so what I did was since the recipe calls for 1 cup of milk I used half a cup of evaporated milk and a half cup of water and it came out great eating right now! Hope this helped cause I was sceptical about using evaporated milk, but it worked well, have a nice day!
These are so simple and so delicious! They really do look exactly like the pictures on the website. Lovely and golden brown. I put some sprinkle sugar on top for some sparkle. Too easy and fun to make!
I wish I could post a photo of this recipe. I made 6 which I have divided the ingredients into half. They turned out to be domed and delicious! Thank you so much for the accurate measurement because I have tried a few recipes in the past, and none of them actually look and taste as good. I substituted buttermilk with full cream milk and lemon juice, still a great result.
You're very welcome and thank you for your kind words! You can email me a pic at lily@littlesweetbaker.com or tag me on IG @littlesweetbaker I'm really glad you like it:)
I love this video of yours. I tried making this and my kids love it. You are my idol when it comes to muffin making. Can you also make corn muffins the Kenny Rogers style? 😊❤ Thank you in advance. 😊
Aww, thank you for your kind words. I'm so glad you like my muffin recipes. I don't have a cornbread muffin recipe that is like Kenny Rogers, but here is one that looks really good www.pepper.ph/kenny-rogers-corn-muffin-food-hack/
I’ve tried making this and used only 315g of flour as I’m in Australia, but with the milk butter and sugar combined, it made my muffins very wet instead of dry like yours. Do you know why this is? The first time I made it I used 625g because i thought 1 cup was 250g instead of 130g, but then it was too dry.
Hi Yiwen, 1 cup liquid measure is 250 ml, but 1 cup dry measure depends on the ingredient. For example 1 cup of sugar is about 200 grams vs 1 cup of flour which is about 125 grams, so the 315 gram measure is correct (I rounded off the measure). How was the batter after it was baked?
