I haven’t visited the zoo here in NC in a while from your video it look like it had a face lift done. I do agree it is a beautiful zoo but very hilly. Happy you only got rain from hurricane Debby we got rain here in Fayetteville also with some flooding around the area. Happy belated birthday to your son

Hey Arika, first let me wish Jaxon a Belated Happy Birthday 🎊🎂🎁🎈🎉 it will soon be 10 years since I’ve had a child that I’ve had to drop off/ pick up from school daily. I take my Grandkids and pick them up on occasion. I thought once my sons graduated and I was an empty nester I would sleep in and just lounge but let me tell you I still get up at 5:30 am and actually have a lot of things that keep me busy. Iam busier now than ever. The older I get the faster time goes by. I miss my sons ( I have 2) being young and I cherished every single moment I had with them. I was like you I don’t like when school started back and a lot of the other Moms thought I was crazy! Maybe I was but I truly loved/ love being with my boys. Wow long rant. Hate driving Asheville even though we just bypass it going to Myrtle beach but something about it lol We haven’t been to a zoo in 30 yrs. We went to Columbia zoo in Ohio. I think today’s vlog was the most I’ve heard Jaxon talk in a long time. He sounds just like Marion. Bless your heart on the wedding planning!! Sweet memories but know you are stressing!! I’m stressing trying to get ready for vacation in a few weeks lol ❤
Women never retire..30 years with kids in school..the 50+ years of meals..I am 68 and it seems I have worked my whole life. Retiring would be nice..but I do love a good meal and a clean house! 🩷
