MAKO Spearguns was founded on a unique concept of being more than just a manufacturer and supplier of high quality spearguns and underwater hunting gear. With this unique concept, we focus our attention on the spearfishing community, instead of the business of selling gear.
It is our belief that "giving back" to the community in which we serve is the best way to grow as a company. And, in doing so, it has been most rewarding for us.
Whether it is a diver or his family in need, a local spearfishing club or a non profit organization with a worthy cause, the level of commitment we have for our community translates into building relationships with our customers.
By combining this deep connection to the spearfishing community with a line of high quality spearguns and underwater hunting gear, Mako Spearguns will continue to grow and of course, continue to give back.
Hi! Thanks for the video! I burned the lenses on the outside too (very quickly), would that be a problem? It was fogging on the outside and that's why I did it.
That makes it look so easy! My attempt was not so easy (or uneventful). Maybe that’s why I work in an office!? The C-clip did not go on easily at all, nothing like the demo. It was very stiff and was virtually impossible to install leveraging off he edge as shown. I used a pair of opposite - aka opening - circlip pliers. This made it much easier. It is very easy not to get the blade firmly in the pocket before drilling because it “migrates” when you put the sides of the pocket all the way down the fin blade edges. Got my first one wrong. Caution - don’t do what I did - do NOT put the foot pocket in the oven even for a short time on a low temperature - it wrinkles the edges of the foot pocket - probably still ok but less than optimal. Drilling with a small drill first e.g. a sharp 3/16” drill bit is better than drilling with a 1/4” because the carbon is so hard and there is more danger of splitting the fibres with a larger drill bit. Just try to go slow with feed pressure. Lessons learned - better to learn from someone else’s mistakes. My 2c.
Add a bit of Cayenne pepper for a different flavor. Add to taste. Makes for a bit of variety if you eat a lot of fish. Also I use this batter for fried chicken as well.
We generally recommend that customers pay more attention to the weight rather than the height range, if unsure please call us durin normal business hours, Thanks!
*Worked like a charm.==>**nub.best/kjyw** I did not take on any water inside the mask and it was easy to use. It was great to not have an air tube in my mouth.*

Thanks for the real nice tutorial. What I would like to know is, what thickness dyneema is used for the wishbones and what size for the constrictor knot bands? I'm in the UK and would buy from you but I can't afford $50 shipping on two pieces of dyneema. Cheers.
