Appreciate the ideas but my hair isn't thick enough for the two styles that pull the top half of the hair up and letting the rest of the hair hang. The hanging part would look way too sparse.
This is one of my favorite things to do(as seen in my profile pic even=), but hadn't thought about pulling shorter hair out around face, or adding the flip through for some extra lift on the pony~ good tips, because yours looks so much fuller =) Thx sweets!
I wash my thin fine hair about 2 times a week, sometimes 3. Everyone says to double cleanse your hair but every time I do it is soooo dry afterwards and the tangles are bad, even if I put conditioner on my hair, which I have to after washing it twice in the shower but it still doesn’t get the tangles out. Am I just one of those people that doesn’t need to wash my hair twice each time I wash it or what? Also, I always try to brush my hair before washing it but even still it just seems like the double cleanse is just too drying on my hair. Any advice?
If double cleansing doesn't work for you then don't do it! I generally go by what I feel my hair needs, if I shampoo and I don't get much suds I rinse and shampoo again (a good lather means their isn't anymore dirt or oil in the hair) if I get a good lather on the first shampoo I don't do a second. Always do what works best for you and your hair ❤️

I like all of the messy buns, but could you show us how to do a low bun in the back of the head? I have long hair, but it is short and layered on the top.
They look so pretty. These are perfect for me, living in a hot climate. On another subject, I really need help cutting those side bangs. I’m afraid to do it by myself and I’m afraid to let someone else do it too. I realize that’s not something you normally do in your videos. There are so many options!
You can’t start in the middle of a strand to get a bouncy curl. You start at the ends then wind the curler down to the scalp. With fine hair you may need to use a small claw clip to hold the roller. After rolling, spray with hairspray. Let the roller cool completely before you remove it. Don’t brush! Fluff with your fingers then respray.
@@diyhairschool4445 thank you!! I DID just watch it! I’m going to try it! I have some of these that are just headbands. But they do fall out. I’m going to try it! ❤️
I did it!! 😂 I am sitting here still in my silk tie from sleeping and I decided, WTH I’ll do it with you. And I did!! It doesn’t look great bc I haven’t even brushed my hair yet, 😂, but I did it and I’m going to do it again! ❤❤
I love your videos. They’re very helpful. This isn’t your specialty but I wish somebody would make a video about determining how to choose a face framing style. Some start higher up on the head, some go farther back past the ear. I need to cut my hair but it’s hard to know what style to follow. I need help! It’s unbelievable, but of all the videos that I’ve watched none of them address that issue.
What is your face shape? Square, Oval, Diamond, Heart, or Round? That makes a big difference, then choose a length and style that suits your face shape and hair texture. For instance layers or full? Light layers or several? I have fine dense curly hair. I have mine layered in longer layers all around my face and less in the back until the lower area if that makes sense.
Thank you. I had pretty much given up on my fine hair but since watching your videos I have played around with a couple of volumising products and I’m having much more styling success. I’m 49 and my memories of hair mousse is that it’s heavy and sticky but they have come a long way and I have found the perfect one that allows me to create styles without heaviness. Ps; still can’t do your viral messy bun but practice each day x
You're so patient and kind to help us with our hair... I've been practicing several different techniques you've demonstrated and I really am getting better and better results! Thank you so much!
First let me say I love the color of ur hair. I have thinning hair and I’ve been searching for a good tutorial & I found it in yours. Great demo…ty for sharing, can’t wait to try it.
