Thank you for this word Pastor Morris! Read this scripture yesterday and the Spirit of God lead me to this Sermon,,,my Lord! Thank You Jesus for Your leading, I’m holding on to Your unchanging Hands 🙌🏾 Glory to God! 🙏🏾❤️
Thanks for this series. Powerful and useful information. What direction would you offer to someone (like me) who is wrestling with whether or not preaching as a profession is God's direction for them?
The calling of God on your life to preach is not merely a profession; it transcends the realms of mere employment. It is a divine vocation, a sacred mission that beckons you to share God's word and love with others. It's a calling that stirs your soul, a fire that burns within, and it's something you cannot easily ignore. I would strongly encourage you to embark on this spiritual journey with earnest prayer and contemplation. Seek God's guidance and listen to the inner stirrings of your heart. There will come a moment when you feel an irresistible urge, a profound conviction that compels you to step onto the path of ministry. It is in that moment that you'll know, without a doubt, that you are answering the call of God. So, keep your heart open, your faith strong, and your prayers fervent as you discern and follow your divine calling.
Dr. Ainsworth, I'm meeting you for the first time via your RU-vid Chanel. I am impressed your skill in just talking and sharing of your tips. Thank you so much it's been a huge help.
He can do it, doesn’t mean He will do it. 22:38 Confidence in God’s omnipotence must walk hand in hand with the surrender of our will to God’s omniscience.
Thanks again for a timely presentation on homiletical stewardship Dr. Morris. I find that God has guided my experience thus far through steps 1 - 4, I smiled as I realised I am on the path to improvement thus far. Now just to see how step 5 unfolds hmmm.
I want to say thank you Pastor for this. I am not a pastor or an Elder but they do ask me to speak for our vesper service at Ambassador. This will help a lot for someone who has really not written sermon or sermonette before. Also thank you Pastor Morris for God using you to preach the word at the Revie crusade. Thank you and may God continue to bless you and your family. Also could you please pray for me. I get really nervous and I start to studder when I speak. God bless.
Praise the Lord. Thanks so much for the affirmation and encouragement. I am sure that as you keep preparing and doing your best, it will get sweeter and better.
Thank you... but your story isn't my story. Mine is different, we all have different stories to tell However, that doesn't stop me from giving the Glory to Abba father the Almighty for who He is.... It's the results that do the preaching above all else. @🤝 peace and love
IMPROVE on preaching SKILL by the WORK of GOD, through His Holy Spirit in You Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." Preqch not of the FLESH (feelings and emotions) of what you THINK and FEEL, you are doing right, rather by God's Spirit (belief and obedience, inspite of how you feel or think).
