I'm still upset that the Prof. didn't get into Smash. His abilities would have been amazing to see against other Nintendo characters. Such as his fencing, inventive abilities, and his general problem solving. I also think it would have been cool if his final smash was the puzzle solving animation, where he'd smile if he hit someone and frown with the hat tipped when he missed. Just my opinion though.

After rewatching this from 2016, Professor Layton fans can already tell how much this game series has come thus far. This shows how much things can change in just a short number of years. Let's hope perhaps if Unwound Future had a sequel and we get to see all characters from all the games, come together for a finale? I'd like to see Descole meeting Claire for the first time, or perhaps Herschel meeting up with his father again with his brother, or maybe even have Luke meet Herschel's son for the first time?

My first Layton game, which I just finished yesterday. This tore my heart out, threw it on the ground, and smashed it into tiny pieces. Thank you, Level 5 ;-;
