We need the sound type and for me I would add the plastic/gum type, because I want Regitube to be real and it would give another weakness to electric type
All I can think of are stats and abilities... A gimmick that can 6+ raise a specific stat but each turn they will lose 2 stages. Call it Beast mode or something... A gimmick that gives a Pokemon brand new stand alone abilities that comes from the gimmick itself. Basically a "power-up" that exchanges the current ability with some "brand new broken abilities" that is only accessible WITHIN the gimmick. Pokémon with a signature ability would keep their signature ability though but they will still get the broken ability, so they will have 2 abilities instead. I hope I would be right or at least be close 🫤🤞
Gengar should be Ghost/Dark. I see the Poison thing coming from Ghastly, but knowing what Gengar's like in the pokedex, it should be replaced with Dark.
I feel toxic terrain should boost poison moves by 30% and work have the toxic orb/poison heal effect where every ground non poison or steel Pokémon take poison damage but actually be poisoned. And poison types get leftovers healing on the terrain.
I would rather we never find out what's underneath Mimikyu. It's one of those things where nothing could live up to the mystery and what the imagination could come up. There are mysteries in Pokemon that could have a pay off with a reveal but this wouldn't be one I would rather they not resort to many new abilities for Mega Evolution. Its a gimmick with limited appearances and I would rather new abilities not be locked to Legends Z-A, Gen 6 remakes or the off chance Pokemon GO introduces abilities
I thought of an interesting one for this; I call it "Charcommando" with the design being inspired by modern military operators. More like an SAS, Black Ops, Army Rangers, Navy SEALs kind of thing. The weapon of choice I think would be like Charcommando holding a fiery pistol and combat knife, similar to using the Tactical Knife attachment in older Call of Duty games like Black Ops 2, Ghosts, Modern Warfare 2 and 3 and its more "recent" and last appearance in Advanced Warfare ten years ago. I'm not sure about the ability or type but its signature move is similar to the move Shell Side Arm used by Galarian Slowbro which can use it's flame gun for special attacks or its flame combat knife for physical attack, depending on its target. I know that sounds more mature for what it is in Pokémon (even though the Pokédex is cursed sometimes) but I'd like to hear your feedback on "Charcommando" because it sounds like a super badass concept.
Halves the accuracy of all non-ground/flying Pokémon for five turns?! Do you want to destroy competitive Pokémon completely?? Other than that though, great vid.
Pawer’s evolution should have looked more like the blood devil as it’s stated in the manga that devils are stronger than fiends since it’s evolving and getting stronger
I'm late to this video, but here are some counter arguments! "What about dual-type Pokémon, which type do you replace with Sound?" I don't think it's THAT hard to choose, it just takes some effort to look at the individual cases. For example: - Ludicolo: pro-Grass;hardly any lore about it mentions anything Water-related and it can breed mainly with other Grass-types, while also being very specifically a counterpart to the Seedot-line. Pro-Water: evolves with Water Stone, has Rain abilities/strategies. The rain aspects still remain relevant even without the Water type (think of Dhelmise not being a Steel type), and we've seen Pokémon evolve with elemental stones that do not directly match their type (Nosepass with a Thunderstone). Alternatively, and this goes for most other examples below, Ludicolo could stay Water/Grass, and instead a new Form of Ludicolo is introduced that IS Sound/Grass, with even more focus on Sound. - Vibrava: it's never learned tons of Dragon moves compared to Ground and sound-based moves. Easily Ground/Sound, which still gets to enjoy having access to Dragon moves anyway. Ground/Sound would also end the endless outclassing comparisons with Garchomp, as it would be a lot more distinct. - Toxtricity: a fun solution is in its gimmick! Toxel has two forms that it can evolve into, decided by its nature. So what if High Amped Form was Sound/Electric, while Low Key was Sound/Poison?
"when does GF listen to the fans and give them what they want" I'd argue it actually happens TOO MUCH in recent generations, just with a significant delay due to game development taking multiple years.
Mega gothitelle could have an ability that when it is on the field when phychic terrain is up, it automatically sets up both reflect and light screen for 8 turns. Boosting both it and its teams physical and special defence by 50% for 8 turns making it both a great defensive support on both singles and doubles teams
@angelica-fg4gj a ability that sets both screens on the field if phychic terrain is up while it's on the field or it switches in while the terrain is up. That doesn't sound broken, and if 8 turns, which is the length of screens when the mon setting them is holding the light clay, is too much, then 5 turn their normal length. So, in battle, either it of another team member would need to set up the phychic terrain, then this ability would go off setting the screens it's only a little better then a prankster mon using 2 turns to set both screens.
2:14 - 2:20 Me: Adapt to 3 types at once Fan base: Add new Pokémon stead if giving these Pokémon sound type Game freak: What the hell are you guys talking about. We gotta get back to adding features that will only stay for one intsallment
nice idea. but can you eliminate the type background in each mon, esp the fire, grass and water. the pokemon's color blends with its background, making the design less appreciated.
