What's up, Legion of Explorers? My name is Sal, and I produce the Expedition Log Series (or ExLog, for short). My interests for this channel will focus primarily on an in depth tour of dead malls, dying malls, living malls, historical and abandoned places, and possibly more! A full historical account for each place is narrated by me, and all research and due diligence to verify the facts presented are triple checked. So, come take a walk with me and let's go on an expedition!
The Mayor of Atlantic City, Marty Small and his wife Laquetta who is the Superintendent of Schools were both recently indicted for beating their daughter with a broom until she was unconscious. But somehow both of them still have their jobs...
My backlog is a California Redwood at this point. “One of these days” took a serious amount of time and money, and I can survive a nuclear winter with all the shit on my hard drive :)
Hi Sal former east town mall / knoxville center mall was like this but was a 2 level , the tent area would change colors red , yellow, white, green, blue look it up if you have any time , been to a few malls prob. 10 other but not as many as you , I really miss that mall so much
Dude. We have so many malls in Calgary Alberta. Most of them have never really struggled. New horizon and Northland malls have had trouble. But they are currently being resurrected. It's almost as if Calgary has been untouched by world economic deficit. I have been watching since 2018. Your Videos have got me through some rough times. Thanks Sal. Also, I would really love to hear your music. I can tell you have quite the ear. you have hinted at orchestral positioning.
OH MY GOODNESS. April 15, 2023: I was in Owensboro for a Rubik’s Cube competition (yeah I’m a nerd lol). As I drove by Town Square I thought it was abandoned. When I looked it up, I was surprised to found it was still open! One thing led to another and soon I was fully obsessed with these “dead malls.” Town Square is THE MALL that got me into dead malls! Sadly I didn’t go inside, and I wish I had, can’t wait to see this video!
Get in line, local. You’re late to the party. I’ll tell you what I told everyone else…pronounce my name. “Sawl-vay-torie”? Lmao no. Thanks for watching!
Yes, I know that is how locals pronounce your town. But it’s hilarious to me because of my own name and how locals there must butcher pronouncing “Salvatore” given how they say “Salisbury”.
The contradiction between how you locals demand the rest of the world pronounce “Salisbury”, and how I’ve heard countless locals pronounce my name “Salvatore” is absolutely hilarious.
So, I come here to this mall for eye doctor appointments at the LensCrafters, and sometimes I'll stop by the stores every once in a while. Boscovs, Hot Topic (its the only place that still sells band shirts in the local area) and maybe hit up the FYE store and see what they have in there for anime, manga and foreign snacks. Other than that? This place was bustling. Hot Topic, Spencer's, GAP, Gamestop, Chick-fil-A, Auntie Anne's. Most of those are still there, but most others are either dead or have moved off from that Shopping Centre in Salisbury. Like I said, the only thing left there that I ever do now are my eye appointments and maybe stopping by Hot Topic. I'm hoping that this video and many other people spread word about this old mall and gives it the kick it needs before they either close it all entirely and make it land development for more apartments or worse.
They just put the Spirit Halloween in and it was bumpin' 🎃❤️ (and by bumpin' I mean me, my mom, the cashiers, and some pre-school aged kids enjoying the animatronics with their parents) If you go right after Christmas it is pretty dead but it has some days that are more "alive" than others but it will never be what it was. I can never understand how people prefer outlets over malls. Edited to add: I believe someone bought the property earlier this year and had "big plans"
I used to go to the Old Lexington Market when it was still up before they shut it down and rebuilt it it went there every day when I was little with my dad and got lunch their fried chicken and french fries and their crab cakes were delicious the bakery they had in there with the cakes and stuff were so delicious I had one of them for a birthday cake when I was 6 years old
