That 7300 is a noisy rig, I've looked at several videos and the 7300 is noisy, compared to the Yaesu FTDx-3000 the IC-7300 is noisier than the 3000 with no DSP, without doubt the 3000 seems a lot quieter than the 7300 so I think this is the radio I will choose, even the 991A is quieter in this video. Waterfalls won't make me hear signals so I don;t really care about the fancy screen.

How a transciever A/B comparison becomes more usefull? 1. Use external equal loudspeaker on each transciever. 2. Switch each 5 sekund between A and B transciever. 3. Switch during a station is talking, 4. Use the same settings on each transciever (BW, GAIN, FILTER...) 5. Don't talk yourself during the test. 6. Cut out the searching stations on the video. 7. Write in the content, is this video for SSB; CW.... May be you find some more facts? Best Regards Mark
I never tryed a 7600 but You just have a 7700 (that is better than a 7600) so it have no sense. The 7300, compared with a 7700, have no big differences except output power and some function and the price is Amazing. It will be an intresting solution to sell the 7700 and buy a new 7610 ....
a me nelle prove la portante mi piace lasciarla prima di fare un cambiamento. che senso avrebbe lasciarla per aumentare la potenza ?? Per far sembrare che funzioni? Mica lo devo vendere a qualcuno.
Ma scusa,per accenderlo non devi interrompere la trasmissione se no sembra che magari alzi solo la potenza che per farlo appunto devi interrompere la trasmissione e settarla nel menu....................................

a orecchio il 991 sembra quello con il filtro piu' stretto , poi il 7300 e per ultimo il 7700 che sembra decisamente piu' largo anche se dal display si vede 2,6khz
Beh a "orecchio" non è inferiore a nessuna radio a cui l'ho paragonata fino ad ora (ic7700, ts790,ic275) il chè è già molto visto che sono tutte radio con ricevitori ottimi.
Well every antenna including a piece of wire attached to your radio hears. The question is does it transmit? Really need to see how well it transmits before forming an opinion!
