When Scotty popped that Klingon, I thought NEVER mess with a man who survived getting shot 7 times on D-DAY with the Canucks. Yeah, James Doohan (probably misspelled last name) was THAT much of a BADASS!!!
I love it! Someone is thinking like me. 😁 I have a video posted to my RU-vid channel that I created with the Enterprise theme music used as the musical overlay to the original first season Star Trek intro. And it worked too, with a few minor modifications. I like outside the box thinking. Bravo! 👏🏻
Gene Roddenberry's original ST was supposed to be wagon train to the stars but turned into a woke future fantasy. If the world goes that way we'll never get it right.needs human greed, self interest, and profit to succeed.
I don't think Rod Stewart is singing on this one though he was perhaps the first one signing it.Russell Watson is the one signing the theme of Enterprise.
It's 3:55 am. where I am, and I'm seeing this for the first time. It's such a beautiful and fitting tribute. Star Trek encouraged me to look to the future with so much hope. James T Kirk is my captain, and I'll never forget the awe and wonder of seeing the very first eposide of ST:TOS in 1968. They are my heros. LLAP.🖖
I loved it BUT I would've wished that you stuck with only the optimistic stuff, not the space battles. I always felt that the theme is about the realization of a dream...not conquest in space. Just a thought...
I really hope assuming we don't destroy ourselves that we might have a Star Trek future one day and the name of the first ship that can go faster than light with a warp drive has to be named Enterprise
Enterprise was great. That damn awful theme tune put me off ever wanting to watch this series for decades. I eventually grin and bared the extricating intro sequence and watched the whole series and it is damn good. It is damn good Star Trek. But what the f*ck were the thinking with that choice of that opening theme tune? Where they deliberately planning to kill ratings for some cult cred? It is painful to listen too and a blatant insult to the top quality actors and writers of the series.
