Great videos, well done. I am considering doing the same thing, just two questions, how many hours did the project (engine bay cleanup, rocker cover refurb and filter fitting) take and what benefits were there in fitting the Typhoon??
Just bought one of these - 1.8 Nevada (I like the colour and the two tone steering wheel which matches the soft-top) - also have a Cobra exhaust which sounds lovely. They are so much fun to drive.
Just bought 2000 MX5 special edition SE it's British racing green classic spoked wheels twin exhaust 34000 miles full body kit for my son he's a lucky boy thinking about making my own RU-vid videos on this subject
Thank you for this 🙌🏻 hopefully getting one of these this weekend but keep being warned about the engines 🙄 but judging by other peoples comments as well as yours I feel quite confident in having one as I know I can look after it! Great vid 👍🏻
Awesome place and awesome video 👌 Even former US president Bill Clinton first proposed to his wife Hillary on the banks of Ennerdale Water in 1973 and got rejected.
Such a nice car. My first car which was a mini one blew up last week and I’ve been looking at these Zetec S ecobeasts. Think it might have to be my next car
I’m actually going for one of these in the frozen white… What can I say I’m old school lol… I’m going back in time the very first car I bought was an old A reg Fiesta… Thanks for your honest review of this… With a remap surly you need to upgrade your clutch and brakes too?
Is there any difference between different year cars in the same generation? I mean is Ford Fiesta from 2017 any better than the one from 2015? Because I am thinking of buying one and my budget is £5k.
Here in Canada they are very rare and the ecoboost pretty much only came in the base model trim, but I have the 2015 and my cousin has the 2017. Surprisingly enough, his car seems to be lacking a few things that mine has. Leather steering wheel, back cup holder, I don’t remember what else. It seems that they started to cheap out on the car as the years went on as they were getting closer and closer to phasing out their sale of cars altogether. We have the same mileage on the car as well and he’s had some problems that I haven’t. His flex pipe broke recently, and just acquired a problem with his gas tank sensor. Just praying I don’t start running into issues because they cost a fortune to repair here in Canada because the parts are all from the UK.
I have just sold an Evo IX running 500 bhp and now I am looking for a run about and this Fiesta ticks the box what I am looking for. Greta review and great car.
Hey there, isn't the MAF directional and didn't you put the new one the wrong way (the connector is on the other side)? Did this create any issues or this particular MAF doesn't care for the direction of the air flow?
Very good cars and certainly don’t deserve the bad rep they get for having a “crap gearbox and unreliable engine” issues which only ever come when they’re mistreated which often happens with younger owners. Had mine three years since 17 a brilliant daily. Got an mx5 as well lol but a mk1 🤙
I completely agree mines been bullet proof and it does come from smashing through the first gears. And no way you have an mx5 also that's wicked. Love them
I'm actually in the market for one of these or an mr2, just for like a weekend car. I'm not looking for anything expensive but ones I've seen, the all have rust issues because the owners don't clean out the drain holes
How was the insurance, coming up to my 3rd year now and my golf 1.4 tsi 122ps was £800 with no box, that’s with 2 years no claims and 2 years with a black box
