What a shitty explanation and a crappy video. No size of torx mentioned to take off the plastic cover. No mention of the spark plug torque. No mention of the ignition coil bolt torque. What size spark plug socket do I need? No information at all.
Unbolt all the injectors that are going to stay off the fuel rail . Leave the one that is going to come out attached to the fuel rail. Pull it up with the fuel rail. Injector should come out with fuel rail.
Thank you. I have a 2018 cruze that that number 1 injector quit. It only has 72k miles on it. I was glad to see it it isn't too easy but also not too hard of a job. I'm probably just going to do all 4 injectors and plugs and coil packs at the same time. And your oil consumption issue is most likely the pcv value. I've already replaced mine twice and the turbo once. Thanks again and you earned a subscriber.
Thanks for the help with info on the "fuel"/fule injector. It might be easier for people to find your informal video with fuel spelled like this (fuel) thanks brother.
Useless... I got ALL of the bolts off that he went over, as well as all the clips. The freaking thing won't come out. There is something else still holding it in place.
I understand the ADHD but you literally didn't show or do anything. People who look up videos on how to do things need to actually see you do the work start to finish. You didn't even tell what size sockets or anything.
Thank you! Everyone shows how to remove using the pry method but never went into how to replace the fuel injectors. ❤ I'm fishing out pieces of the brake vacuum pump. I had oil leak with valve cover & the brake pump broke off into there. My pill mainly leaking from three. Had it to shops even the dealer & they all missed diagnosed. Doing it myself this time. So appreciate you taking the time.
I have a 2018 and was trying to pop out the fuel injector, the freaking bottom of that fuel injector broke off and now that part is still in that cylinder. Called repair shops and they all said I need a new engine!! Omfg.
Unfortunately I can't do anymore videos on my 2017 cruze it's been repossessed since this video. Was barely able to make the payments the turbo and the no.1 cylinder both blew out and had no way of fixing it. So I just left the keys in the center console and waved goodbye
Video was good. Im worried because my number 1 injector went. Now you had a bad piston and the turbo is shot.....is this in store for all of us cruze owners. ??
@@bhawk9573 from what I was told by mechanic he sees alot of cruzes with blown turbos around the 100k mile mark my no.1 cylinder going might just be my shitty luck playing its hand at the time cause as far as I know that's not as common as the turbo but could possibly coincide with the turbo going since it loses oil when that goes which can cause damage to the piston rings making the whole cylinder lose compression.
I think he’s full of $h!t I’ve tried prying on mine and they won’t budge It’s don’t nothing more then bend the fuel lines to the injectors from the rail.
Sorry I was just a couple years out of the military working night shift at a factory that barely paid the bills and I had been up all night trying to do this without and help or guidance. By the time I got everything apart I was like well I'd hate to be the next guy doing this blind so ill angerly make a video.
Thanks for taking the time to make the video and your fuks, lol my wifs car stability track went off, went to pep boys to get diagnostic done $99 right off the back, so to find out there is a miss fire cylinder 1 and sometimes 2, my wife car is a 2018 chevy cruze Lt 1.4L, so thanks for the vid, but just a note, smoking is bad for your health just saying, so instead go take a hit of something that will calm that mouth down, 😅🤪👊
Quick question. I had the same issue with my 2017 Cruze premier..I changed 4 spark plugs the coil and the fuel injector on cylinder 1 ..when I tried to started it will crack but no start can you plz help
