Hopefully you were able to find the info you needed to continue the game, if not, there are tabs at the top of your inventory screen that have skills and technology. Open those tabs and you should be able to advance in the game. Hope you continue, there are some cool things in this game.
Nice map really. Very expandable for the cities etc. Lots of water you can build on also. I know there is an expensive Red mod for building perfume. You need water and flowers and can sell them for quite a bit!! Great start and look forward to more. Why you love the game? I've heard too many say it's always going to be a great game and it is. People still try to outdo it and just cannot. I have issues with my pc with the newer games PSU and such but I can play Banished all day with good graphics. And he let people build mods for it and that made it even better!! Great game!
Yeah this map is perfect for this challenge. Frankly I'm more worried about my PC than I am the map. haha. But we'll go until it's a slideshow or we hit the 1k! :D
I enjoy watching others use RedKetchup's awesome mod. It opens so many new pathways for one to manage and care for the citizens. I especially love the new features that allows one to pickup fallen trees and food, which is very handy in Jack&Jill/Adem&Eve starting conditions. Really great video and audio quality, this was an enjoyable vid, thanks for sharing :)

Loving your Banished vids so thought I'd check out some of your Manor Lords stuff.. Unfortunately I couldn't deal with most of them, the game's ambient nature sounds are set waaay too loud and although they don't quite drown your voice out, its hard to concentrate on what you are saying when its almost as loud and I can't de-focus from it, just makes me want to choke those bl**dy birds!! Anyway, sorry to be a downer, am enjoying your channel overall but guess I will stick to your Banished ones.
Everything is looking good! Play 5 x speed. Makes for more episodes for us to watch. I haven't been online for 5 days so I'm catching up. We were devastated in our area with Hurricane Helene (mtns of NC). Our bridge is totally gone to our neighborhood. Lucky tho. Many others were so much worse off. Still no electric but just got internet tonight 10/2 and so thankful for it. Tired of reading lol. Moving forward and you're growing good!
@@BluebellyGaming Thanks! It's really bad but down toward Asheville, it's apocolyptic seriously. It's so bad up here but even worse down there. We will have to walk to our car we parked at Lowe's Hardware for a long time before our bridge is fixed. It's ok. We are ok. Look forward to more of the series!

@BluebellyGaming Biggest accolade you can give this game is when any new game from this genre is released, every review asks "But is it as good as Banished?"
Everything is running smoothly!! Look forward to the next play thru. You should use whatever mod suits you. Colonial is a good one also. MegaMod9 takes a lot to run it. Great mods tho and includes all of the good ones.
You need to add more people to gatherer's etc. More people helps produce more food. One person just isn't enough, and you have like 90+ laborers 😄 And I would definitely build more wood choppers or make charcoal.
The only advice I can give you that I have seen with other RU-vid players (I can't play because I'm having issues with my computer), is to not do the farm until later. Use the berries for a while when first starting with a forager. The small storage will be moved when you put someone to work in the storage building. Like I said before, it's basically like Banished except it has war to it. Wood, food and homes to begin with.
I agree Mega Mod can be overwhelming at times, but it has so many buildings to choose from and you can do any number of themed things you can think of truly!! I love the mega mod but this mod is very nice. I use it a lot in the megamod 😊 Nice job and you are closing in quickly on your 50 years!
Thanks. Yes, I really like the balance of RKEC. I'll probably use it when I do the 1000 population project. I may end up only recording every so often... because it may end up being too long of a series otherwise. :)
Do a vanilla series with disasters off because there's no challenge in modded,I have a series on my own channel if you want to check out my style of play,I'm trying to get the highest population ever recorded
I always use to build storage buildings near the fields so people working there, didn't have to run so far to put it in a barn. It always worked good for me. Village is looking good!! Look forward to the 1000 people game when you do it!
Yeah this ended up being a really nicely balanced build. It's good to be reminded I'm not terrible at this game. :) The next playthrough will be a challenge more about my PC than me, I'm afraid.
@@BluebellyGaming If mine can do it, yours can. I have issues with mine but can build to between 500 and 1000. Only game I really like that I can still play. Have no idea what is wrong with my computer!!
You have to set the upper floor, THEN add the stairs. And the "thick walls" you had last video were just 1 tile wide rooms on the 2nd floor. The easiest way is to use the walls box to make the biggest rectangle you can on the upper floors, abd eventually remove any interior as you add more rectangles. You cant just add a single exterior wall.

Hey Bud, I'm watching you play. One thing you can do is increase your volume on the mic. I have to crank up my TV. As far as game play, you should read everything. You had picked up a client on that front before you shut it down. You do have a though roll but you can do it. You can stack up those missions and keep working on relations.
Thanks for the tips! I've heard that about my mic, but if I turn it up it will be distorted. I'm sorry that it is hard for you to hear. As for the gameplay, yeah I think the thing will be to just keep going. As I expand and get more outlets to sell what we're making, we should be able to scale up to the mid-tier alcohol. It's not impossible, just a bit challenging.

You determine how much profit you are going to get by setting the "House Edge". The higher the house edge, the more you make, and the less happy the players get. the trick is finding the sweet spot where the gamblers continue to come back, and you make the most money. Green Gemini did a nice set of tutorial videos on YT, you may want to check them out.
It's distracting when I play, too. I'm not sure what to do about it, honestly. I can control the music and the master volume. I guess I'll just have to try turning down the master volume.

I think you have to level up the burgages to level 2 in order to do things like boots from leather etc. Also to brew for the tavern. Your town is looking nice! Growing well! The need for food is keeping honey from being built up. Sawpits depends on how many people you have. And some places it takes a lot. You will need a forester to grow back some areas. Looks good!
I would do 50 to 75 years with this game and next game do a large map of some sort to see how big you can get? Large population? Nomads or not, doesn't matter.
hey i did a cool series years ago that we saved the game after playing 1-2 years and then saved the game.the game was then loaded by the other player and we switched back and forth for a while. I would love to do something like that if your interested
A little late. I have been trying to do this with pre loaded logos from old teams. IE the Montreal Expos. And when I click on logos.... I can't find any actual teams. Just the crappy computer generated ones.
Solo dev made it a decade ago and I've gotten over 500 hours of play time out of it for 10 bucks. So I'll have to respectfully disagree. But thanks for the comment! :)
Soda!! Not another register and put cold stuff together and shelves also. Maybe get organized with what you have to sell first before opening more options for other items
Hey, man, you and I have been hanging out together since Banished was the king. Long live the king? I haven't played it yet. I have it, but I'm taking a totally different approach. Sort of the opposite of a speedrun. I think I want to go very, very slowly. I don't want to plan, at all. I can see it as role-playing, more "real time" than any RTS ever. In order to do that, I'm letting my game evolve, even before playing it. Do immigrants come only for new houses? Or do they bring their tents, join the work, and wait for a house to be built for them? See where I'm going with this? If they only come if a house already exists, then it's modern housing with ticky-tack houses eventually behind gates. I'm not looking for a replacement for City Skylines or Banished. I hope Manor Lords develops where you experience life in the Middle Ages, not a game to beat. I'm subscribed.
The people move in once you build a burgage plot for them to move into. I think a slow play idea is great for this game. It's very relaxing on peaceful mode.
Until the wild AI taking over in a year gets patched, I'm happy to play this version. I'm interested to see how expansion will work without combat. I guess taxes? We'll find out.
