Hosts Steve and Chris (along with a rotating cast of much smarter people) discuss the most popular TV and Film properties in pop culture history. Episode by episode, movie by movie. It’s NSFW, irreverent, but earnest, like hanging out in the living room with your best friends. We’re streaming things!
Just found your podcast and it's great. Rings of Power has been a surprise for me, I've really enjoyed it with some reservations. Mostly, a great time.
This was awesome!! We have to help you make this happy again. Such a wonderful experience for my life. Love everyone involved, and especially our amazing hosts.
This was an amazing show to attend! You were all so nice to meet in person. Thank you all so much for putting it on for us. Hope to do another one soon!
I am a new subscriber to your Streaming Things channel. Thank you for sharing your story of your dad and how you grew up. Dad work so hard but everything kept falling apart.. I also battle with mental illness issues..
Loving the continued coverage! You guys deserve more views! Whenever new content comes out, I always go to your channel first to see if you're covering it.
I don't think it was a 'time loop' as much as an 'illusion loop'.. i.e. Sauron had Brimby living in an illusion, and to make it easier for himself, had certain aspects of said illusion looping..
I think you guys, and this channel, are so underrated and more people should be checking out your content! I found you guys during my initial watch of Yellowjackets and immediately got hooked on your personalities, senses of humor, and your analyses of all things pop culture! I have listened to/watched your entire Stranger Things coverage, as well as a ton of your movie recaps. Keep up the great work! I will continue telling everyone in my circle to check out this channel!
.... Norm is my favorite character I can't believe you didn't like him much at first I was enamored from the first moment and eneded up the most invested in his story by the end. I want so much more of Norm
I loke this long discussion about the fallout show. I was hoping tou would do each episode individually but i cant wait to watch your other two videos on this show
Kit, you have got to step back on the "Book did this" or "Book did that." GRRM will never complete the books so many of us quit on the books and are just enjoying the story on screen. I enjoyed the season. There are two more and we are now set up for the Dance of Dragons. Blame Zaslav for the lack of episodes.
I was tearing up from laughing, which I haven’t done in years! When he was googling Owen Arthur, I was also googling him.. Seeing the same guy he was. That’s when I lost it! 😂 Y’all were so full of laughter this episode, it was great to see! Especially from Kit. 😊
I love you guys so much!! You all are the best podcasters ever and dont get the recognitionyall deserve! Honestly, i really wish i had friends like y'all to hang around with, but this will do for sure! Sending love from Nashville!
Glad you’re covering Season 2 of TROP. I tried to get into it as a long time lover of the original Peter Jackson trilogy. You two are always a crack up and make the mildly interesting vastly more fun. With that I will give season 2 a shot. If only HBO could have snagged a Tolkien adaptation, there’s still hope! Love you guys and looking forward to Andy coming back with some Le French orc.
Had a listen to this earlier. Good stuff and definitely getting hyped for the second season. Smol correction (two years later) but Isildur swinging at Sauron is purely a movie invention. In the books Gil GaDaddy and Elendilf overthrow Sauron together and Isildur saunters in and cuts the ring off Sauron's hand after he's dead. Hence the line 'weregild'. He's just a Viking looting bodies at that point...
