Too many times! What I've noticed is that it usually happens if you start activating the time machine as soon as it comes back from being used. Which is very unfair because you don't have time to wait. I've had it where it's been stuck on the loop for a whole 30 seconds and nothing. Stuck like that until you are destroyed. Forcing you to lose.
Raider Time! Got a lot of suggestions I can give here. You can be so unfair as the raider if you wish to be. Like, I see you, you are dead. Good: 1) Having a dragon radar. Always good to have one as soon as possible to hunt Survivors holding dragonballs. 2) Leave 4 alive so the Time Machines don't show up early. 3)Not destroy the STM too soon. 4) Destroyed the STM after knowing where is the last Survivor. Needs work: 1) Not using Dodoria and Zarbon to scout the area. You can abuse their cooldown so much. You can send them out to a direction, they will fly there and stay there for like 5-10 seconds. If they see a Survivor, they will mark it on the screen for you and go attack them. If they successfully hit the Survivor, their shield will be broken. If the Survivor panics, they can transform and waste their Change Energy if you are not nearby. Their cooldown aren't long either, so take advantage. 2) You don't need to use your ki blast to destroy objects. You can fly towards them and they will break. Save your ki blast shots for Vending Machines and buildings because sometimes they can stop your track. 3) Instantly destroying an area after transforming. It's not bad to do, but you can be a real jerk to the Survivors if you hold on it. You never know when they gathered the dragonballs early and activate the shrine/pedestal. If you hold on to it, you can use it when they are activating the dragonballs and destroy that are, negating their wish. Unless it's on area X. What I do is, after transforming, I kill/knock 2 survivors or kill 3 civilians and then destroy an area before killing one more to transform to the next level. You have to pay attention how much energy you are gaining with each kill to use it effectively. Sometimes your last kill doesn't give you enough for some reason. If not, just hold onto a dragonball and destroy an area. Or do both to be a real jerk. Overall, you did really well hunting them down but you can abuse the raider cooldowns to be a real menace. The raider's skills and attacks cooldown so quick that you can basically abuse their power. You can also Ki blast spam if you really want to be unfair. They are really strong.
Here to give my opinions once more. Lol. Good: 1) Cancelling your transformation once away and safe from the raider. Having somewhat energy left to be able to transform sooner. 2) Checking the Vending Machines. Always good to check how much money you all have in total to use and use it to your benefit. 3) Risky, but helping activate the Time Machine to escape and escaping immediately. Risky because you had your back turned and didn't know if the raider was after you. Leading to a possible destruction of the Time Machine. I recommend usually instantly trying to escape once in the time machine if people are too far or raider is nearby. Nothing more soul crushing than being the cause of the lost. Has happened to me a few times. Sometimes the machine glitches after someone has escaped, staying in an infinite loop of the escaping process bar, allowing the raider to destroy the machine when you've been stuck like that for half a minute and can't move. It sucks and it's infuriating. Happens too often. Needs work: 1) As soon as you saw the raider in front of your view, you should have gone to another area. Even if you heard a civilian in a cave, you are putting yourself at risk. Possible things that could happen: You saving the civilian, but now he has you cornered in the cave, giving him the chance to knock you out and gain more energy than a normal civilian. Or, you trying to save the civilian but end up getting knocked down, giving him 2 sources of energy to level up. Or, in this case, trying to save the civilian, getting attacked and having to escape, revealing to him a civilian he can kill and you out of energy to transform. 2) Kaioken Rush in a cave is a high risk because of what just happened. You flew to a wall instead of the exit. I've never used it since I heard from other RU-vid players how inconsistent it is on direction and angle of flight. 3) I know you said it in your description, but I have to say it. You had more dragonballs, the person should have given them to you. It's an unspoken rule that players usually follow. If I have the most, I expect to be given that trust to summon Shenron since clearly I put the effort to collect them. It's why I don't trust giving them to someone who has a few and didn't put the effort to find them. You have a high risk for situation like these that they do the "Ally" wish or even not doing the wish at all. If you didn't know, if you don't pick an option, there is a countdown. If you don't make a choice, Shenron will just leave. Granting no wishes. The only times I did give the dragonballs, was when I thought I wouldn't be able to handle the raider, but that was way back when I played the Beta and didn't understand the game. For the most part, you played well. Some questionable choices but choices that helps us grow and do differently for the next matches.
Gonna do my best to give you my opinions. Again, I am no pro! Just someone with experience in this game. Good: 1) Breaking as many objects as possible in any room/floor you are in. You never know if that money/radar/luggage/energy cube will come in handy. 2) I see you got VIP Special. Good. I use it all the time. Maxing (20) it out helps save a bit more money too. But may cost a lot of Spirit tho. 3) Nice combo in getting the dragonball from Frieza! It was very risky. Luckily, you had backup to be able to use your skills to escape. 4) Being transformed during summoning Shenron. Protects you from the enemies ki blast. 5) Nice timing when using the Super Attack while he was destroying an area. 6) Perfect use of the grappling hook to escape his Super Attack. Good thing you had it available. Needs work: 1) If there is a civilian and box, open boxes first. They may contain a key. You can then save the civilian while someone puts down the key... If they do. If not, you may have to do it yourself. If possible, have Change power available in case you get attacked. 2) Keep the vehicle a distance away from anything you want to interact with. I know how annoying it can be. Also careful when jumping with the vehicle, you can't maneuver much on air and very susceptible to attacks. 3) Every time I find a large energy, I always grab it. Due to other players possibly following you and taking your loot while exploring/opening/breaking stuff. What I would have done: Usually, when I get all the dragonballs, I try to use them as fast as I can if the raider already destroyed an area and is faraway. If they haven't, I try to wait until they are very far away from the center point where the STM lands, and use the dragonballs on the nearby shrine/pedestal. So even if he hears the dragonball activation, he can't destroy area X, so they would have to destroy another area instead, giving you a no hassle Shenron wish. Only issue is that he would be almost above you, so have a backup plan. You hesitated a little before activating once he was far away, DB Breakers makes every second count, so hesitating too much can be your downfall. Not saying to rush it, but that every passing second is valuable. I tried listing out as I watched the game play. Overall, I say you played great. Better than most I end up in randoms. Lol.
@@KaioCast I know! It's super important! The problem is that if you do, don't transform while on the ground and still because it will do that dumb character animation. Taking away 2-3 valuable seconds! So it's best to transform in mid air. I haven't had the transformation animation on the air, but so far so good. Also, did you get to read the reply on Somewhat Awesome Game's video? I can't see it on my side. Probably RU-vid messing up again.
9:15 This is why ur really good at the game u waited for the right opportunity to summon shenron. U didn't rush it and took ur time. Also finding the power key for C was the right move before summoning shenron. Very good decisions. The raider could of finished the match but he wanted a fight and so he got one. Nice gameplay:)
