So amazing! I’ve always wanted to visit Katahdin. It’s pretty out of the way for us in Connecticut, but hoping to make the trip next year!

Really hard just to get through the park to the base of the climb in the winter. Outstanding video!

Been there, never with this much snow. You’re a beast just to get there and back. Let alone to have the energy to ski also. Very impressive

Well done. Looked like the worst part was just getting to the chute. The snow condition(s) looked pretty consistent throughout.

What the fuck. I was out there earlier this season, and can confirm that this video is beyond ridiculous. Doing all this (especially solo) is an absolutely insane effort.

The effort just to get to the top of Katahdin itself is a major feat in those conditions, let alone the incredible skiing and ice climbing.

Some climber is going to crawl up that couloir later in the spring, see a bit of a ski track in the last bit of snow, and won't believe his own eyes.

I grew up in Maine and now live a short drive from the ski areas of the Wasatch in Utah. I think Katahdin still scares me more than most of the mountains in Utah, hard to say why. I guess it’s still pretty prominent and very remote.

Huge props for having balls made of brass. I live a couple hours away from Katahdin and have done a pile of climbing there. Never skied it. Great video.
