Britain’s Bathurst. It was my local track for about 15 years, but it’s mostly club racing and motorbikes. David Coulthard looped an F3 car on that bump after the chicane. BTCC would be fun there but it’d be rubbish with how narrow the track is.
Man this track looks tough, so narrow and tons of sharp corners and chicanes. Looks really good. The big open grass fields look so much better now than they used to
British VIR with a reverse laguna is actually an excellent description. Feels like the narrowest track in the game, officials will likely be a bit messy but it is a very fun track to lap
The BTCC actually doesn't go to Cadwell (maybe never has) irl because of how narrow it is. Think I remember somebody calling it the mini Nurburgring and its absolutely true. Everyone do yourselves a favour and search "cadwell park jump".
Mallory Park runs around a lake, and Oulton Park has one to the left of the first long straight. And Anglesey is right next to the sea. I can't think of any big water at other UK circuits - most of them were airfields first. I don't think BTCC ever went to Cadwell, although I did see some classic tourers here in club racing a few years ago. Rover SD1s and Camaros through the Mountain was something special!
It is mainly used for motorbikes and club racing. So happy a colonial cousin loves it. Makes me proud to be British and I love watching an oval guy on roads. VIR is a great shout
Fun little car. Perfect combo. Hopefully it'll be more successful than SRX as I'm looking forward to running both versions this season. The league is going to be a blast. Unfortunately I'll miss the first daytona, but I plan to run all the rest.
Looks crazy fun ! Finally another car that can be easy to race on the smallest dirt tracks. Dirt Legends and Street Stocks was the only cars I was able to handle well on these tracks. Already love this car without even testing it my self on dirt 🤩
This car has been a really sweet addition, I've seen more people hyping it up online than I have for any other content. iRacing needs to correct the manufacturing defects in their tires and we'll be golden.
When I was a kid I used to go with my parents to Concord Motorsports Park every year (track is long gone but lives on in iRacing) and the mini stocks always were one of the best races. They used to play “Flirtin’ With Disaster” over the PA during the mini stock pace laps
3/4 mile dirt tracks with these are a blast. Use to race one of these on a 3/4 mile dirt track. (mohawk international raceway) Having to upshift on the straights and downshift in turns all while keeping track of competitors and hitting your marks really makes these fun. Never a dull moment.
Hopefully they fix the bugs they catch on week 13 from what little bit I’ve seen they are making everyone one use to much wheel. And on the fwd balance it would be better to just keep it separate for officials if we get a fwd for oval and dirt oval
aahh the right rear hooking looks pretty bad. I hate that. It feels so unrealistic when it happens.. I guess it will take a loooong time for iracing to fix that, if ever. Other than that it looks good. I like that tire wear comes in to play in officials, even if its to much.
Wow! This is the best news since I started iRacing. I tested it at Daytona Short, It feels so good overall, and love the sound. I hope the contact-modell is as good as the street stock. Can't wait for the K5 season to start. See you at Daytona... where I will be scared 💀
I just have those on behind the overlays but if you are talking agter the race im.just turning off overlays, if you are talking ir stuff there are hot keys to remove them in the controls or you can move them with alt+k
