I really love all of your tips. The hardest one for me is inviting myself over because I was raised to wait to be invited. What are some ways you strike that up and when you get a reaction of back peddling, do you try again? Times when people invite themselves to my house, I will come up with another plan if it doesn’t work in the moment.
Thanks for your kind words. We're glad to hear that you're finding value in my tips! To your question of what to do when you get a reaction of back peddling, I would say, ask again, "You mentioned coming over to your home sometime. Let me know when is best for you and what I can bring. I'd love to take you on your offer." If they still back peddle, they might not really mean it. In that case, you might suggest alternative plans that you both might enjoy, similar to how you respond when people invite themselves to your home when it doesn't work in the moment.
