Hi I’m Rachel, an American who has been living in China since 2015. During my time here I’ve lived in 3 different cities and traveled to 24 Chinese provinces.
I started Rachel Meets China as a way to document my China travel experiences - I love sharing about expat life in China and all the amazing people and places to meet here! I currently live in Beijing hosting travel documentaries and livestream videos, and also work in digital marketing for other collaborations.

I think it's just a big contrast from other countries where you only get one take for your photo and it's usually bad light and unflattering. And there's no air brushing.
@@MrPassion4truth It’s just because in some countries, like the US, you can’t tamper with ID photos using photoshop or airbrushing. So it’s just a funny contrast many foreigners are surprised to see in China.
Love your blog n YT. What kind of camera are you using? Are you traveling solo? If you are, are you using tripod or ask people to take some of photos n videos that have you in those? Appreciate for your reply. Thank you
On you tube "deadly"they described nearly the opposite! Whom to trust? I drove and it was good! Certainly it s possible misbehaving, full of people....in this size of china a lot is possible.
