Hi, I found your RU-vid channel in Brazil and I'm trying to find out if we can search SharePoint for words in the body of files in libraries, for example: I have a .msg file exported from Outlook and I need to search for certain key words in its body, how can I to do? Does SharePoint already run this or do I have to configure it? Thanks in advance.

@@SharePointMaven I saw the article and saw that I was already using the parameters you mention in it, but I can't find anything, not even words in the name of the articles. I started transferring data to Sharepoint 2 days ago, there are 38 thousand, maybe it hasn't been indexed yet?
Clearest and most orderly explanation I have seen to date, on Sharepoint, and how the 365 suite nits together. Unfortunately a little outdated but a great foundation for learning the roots of Teams, Power Automate, Planner, Project etc. Great job, and Thanks!
Nice video. I have a question with regards to permissions and views. Say I have a private folder that is limited to users A and B, and it is filled with files. I have given permissions for one of the files in the private folder to user C. Is there a way that I can allow user C to navigate to view that file in the private folder, but see nothing else? Currently, user C can only access the file via the share link
No, you cannot. If you want user to navigate to the file via folders, you need to give access to those folders to the user (at least view only) so user can click and navigate

Would this work between multiple sites? We got one main hub and then three "sites" (sub-hubs? still confused a little by Sharepoint), like our service-mainsite. So I want to create a news-cascade where I post a process change news on a process page, which then also should display on the service unit page, all service unit page news would then show in the service main site news box, and then finally all the service news will go towards the main intranet hub and flow into the main news feed where everything (from additional sites) will be displayed. is this possible?

Do you have experience syncing SharePoint files to Windows Server running on a VM? What is the best setup to be sure that files are synced even after a restart (no user logged in)?

I don’t personally use sync, I was just getting so many issues it just wasn’t worth it, and will add shortcuts to OD if I really need to. What do you personally think of Sync to OneDrive Greg?
Yeah, I hear you - lots of issues with Sync - I always hear about them. Adding a shortcut to OneDrive is a good way to add bookmarks to favorite folders; however, if you sync OneDrive for Business, you also sync locally. However, I heard anecdotal stories that its performance is better than syncing individual libraries... Strange

Is it possible to share/sync a specific folder to more than one SharePoint site? We provide payroll services and want to create a team's site with the client company to collaborate and to give them access to the payroll reports (current and history) that we save on our main Documents Library.
You would need to share a folder with another Team, but physically, the folder will still reside on the original site. It does not quite work they way you describe, though. Yeah, I hear you. As long as users also sync their OneDrive for Business, it does achieve the same thing. However, the same sync limits still apply. But I did hear anecdotal stories that performance is better with this combination. As long as it works, I guess...
Thank you it covers all the option available to share to teams. I am facing an issue. I am using outlook new and the option to 'share to teams' is only available in the first/top account. email 2 and email 3 are from different domains but having the same licenses. I have the share to teams available when opening the same with outlook old. Is this an outlook limitation for the new outlook? would you be able to help set it right for the other domains?
