Smith was taken #17 1992 - Jets drafted Mitchell at #15 overall, at #16 was 4x Pro Bowler Chester McGlockton 1995 - Jets drafted Brady at #9 overall, at #12 was Hall Of Famer Warren Sapp They could have had (realistically) Anthony Munoz, Ronnie Lott, Dan Marino, Steve Atwater Junior Seau, and Warren Sapp. All Hall Of Famers. Freeman McNeil wasnt that bad of a RB. Made 3 pro bowls and ran for over 8000s. Was in a period of studs like Dickerson, Payton, Dorsett, Campbell, Riggins, etc.
The reaction to the Lageman pick might be the funniest of them all. Why? Look at the comparison between Jets and Giants fans, especially that one guy in the Namath jersey. He's like "NOT AGAIN!"
After the past few years, they've kinda drafted better. Seriously, someone should do this for the Raiders. They are KINGS of finding really bad players.
