Hey wassup... Hope to see you around soon on one of the rides with Ducati Sanford. I also moved here from Europe in 2006... and did not ride for a long while. Put the energy on my job. And got back into riding 2018. Got myself a Monster 797, then Monster 821 then .... also a Diavel 1260S ... The red one that is for sale now at Sanford... Because I bought a Red 2023 Streetfighter V2 ... Probably the exact one in your latest video... 🙂 ... Until next time have a good one... // Chris in Daytona Beach ...

Hey Chris!!! Thanks for your comment 🙏 Nice to see another European fellow here 🙌 Where are you from? Funny to notice we owned the same bikes! Gosh I miss my Diavel 1260S. Had to sell it for financial reason. Looking to get back in two wheels soon. Congrats on the SF V2. A hell of a bike!!! That would be epic if the one you bought is the one I test rode! 😆 They only had 2 in stock at the dealership so the odds are 50/50! Lol! Anyway enjoy that “jewel“ and looking forward to meeting you soon.

Great review! Such and amazing bike. Love the Ducati V-twin/L-twin thump. So unique to Ducati. So an impressive electronics suite - 6-axis IMU, ABS, DTC, DWC etc...and no fuel level indicator?! It's an $18k premium naked bike. My Monster has one...level or range indicator options. Just a little odd to me.
@ducattitude623
@ducattitude623 7 месяцев назад
Thanks @burner188. Appreciate the comment and the kind words. Couldn’t agree more. Such an exquisite motorcycle should definitely have a fuel gauge. We all get that uneasy feeling when that low fuel light comes on! Again thanks for stopping by. If not done already consider subscribing to the channel! Ride safe.
@burner188
@burner188 7 месяцев назад
@@ducattitude623 No worries! It truly is and the lack of a fuel gauge would NOT be a deal breaker for me...I'd own that beast OR the V4 in a heartbeat. I've recently read that the lack of that installation has something to do with the configuration of the tank. Owners simply reset their Trip A every fill up and watch the miles. Light supposedly goes on with around 30-40 miles reserve. Owners don't seem to have any issues with it apparently. I'd love to have one someday. Goals 😎
@ggtelevision
@ggtelevision 7 месяцев назад
Not really an issue. About 50-60 miles on reserve so give you time to get to a gas station. Typically, I always reset the odometer on refueling and then you have a sense of your range. As well as soon as the gas light comes on speedo gives you a range calculation. I replaced 3 gas level sensors on a multistrada so rather not have one to be honest. If I have half a tank when I start off will gas up right away. Love mine and have a number of vids on my channel.
@ducattitude623
@ducattitude623 7 месяцев назад
@@ggtelevision Good point! I knew on my Diavel 1260S I had a fuel range of 170 miles (on average on Sport Mode). As long as you know that and you reset your odometer after filling up you’re good to go! 👌

I'm 6'1" with 32" inseam. On this test ride the seat on this 2023 Multistrada V4S was the standard one at 31.1". You can raise it up to 34.4". The cool feature is the 'minimum pre-load' that you can set up so the bike lowers itself when you approach a stop. Hope that answers your question.

Glad to see that the Neotec 2 can be set up with a communicator other than the Sena SRL. I own a Neotec and the Neotec 2 fits like a glove. I'm not looking forward to buying the new one, but I really wasn't looking forward to buying the new communicator when I am unimpressed with my Sena 20S.
@ducattitude623
@ducattitude623 4 года назад
alanhassall Agree. I hesitated a long time before choosing the Cardo over the integrated Sena because I wanted something slick and as discrete as possible but I’m so glad I picked the Cardo. Yes it is bulkier but the quality itself is not even comparable. Plus the voice command on the Cardo is a game changer. The only downfall is that you have to install the communicator further back on the helmet because of the built-in mounting bracket of the Sena being in the way. But again with voice command I don’t even need to touch my Cardo so it doesn’t bother me at all. Hoping this is good information for you.
@alanhassall
@alanhassall 4 года назад
@@ducattitude623 It is good information even if I hold off on the Neotec 2. My Sena 20S was a nightmare on a recent trip. I wear ear plugs because I value my hearing. I tried molded ear plugs with speakers in them. Well, they actually have tubes that lead to speakers inline. First, I have to take off my glasses and stash them somewhere. Then I have to screw the ear plugs into my ear which are connected to the Sena through the headphone jack. Then I have to put the helmet on. While on the road, the tubes must get kinked because the sound goes away. Finally, after several days on the road, my ears get irritated enough that I can't wear them anymore. The standard speakers cannot be heard with foam ear plugs at 70mph. I'm interested in the new Packtalk Black. Supposedly, it will have the 45mm speakers included. I guess that the inexpensive way to go would be the bigger speakers on my Sena, but I have no faith in that set up. Oh, and on the road, several times I was promoted to "say a command" when I hadn't done anything. Not sure what that was about, but it was irritating. Nice video.
@ducattitude623
@ducattitude623 4 года назад
alanhassall thank you. If I were you I would give the Cardo PackTalk Black a try. I wish they had it available when I bought my Cardo. Black (which would have matched my helmet better than the silver) and with 45mm JBL ( better audio quality). Let me know what you think if you decide to go for it. ✌️
@alanhassall
@alanhassall 4 года назад
@@ducattitude623 For now, I decided to add the 45mm JBL speakers to my Sena 20s. Hopefully they will make a noticeable improvement, but they point in the direction of a future Packtalk Bold installation, if I choose to change later. The first thing that I realized is that the ear pockets in my Neotec are really far back in the helmet. I don't know if they are where "normal" people's ears are or if they were placed where they are because the modular helmet needs to put other hardware there. I checked placement by taking the cheek pads out and discovered that the speakers were where the cheek pads should be. I ended up butchering the pads, trimming about an inch of foam and then stitching the covering back together and stitching it flat to the plastic support on the back of the cheek pad. Much better when the speakers are actually aligned with my ears. I wonder if the original speakers would have been better too. I don't live in a state with an 80mph speed limit so I am not sure if it is fixed with ear plugs in or not. They are better up to the speeds that I can legally go.
