At last I found this radio program! I'm almost 74 and I would have been a toddler, so I think it was my uncle who was a teenager at that time who listened to the program. I only remember the squeaking door and a mysterious voice. I always wondered what it was all about and I'm finally going to know what is in the Inner Sanctum! Wish my uncle was still around.

I've always thought that the INNER SANCTUM episode for 12/7/41 was titled 'Island of Death' was a terrible coincidence. It was much too late to make a schedule change since the show was live and compared to what was actually taking place that day made a program title of minuscule importance.

I love when my hair stands on it's ends and my blood runs cold...I could definitely use some of those little liver pills for $.25 each 😂😂😂 Love the Inner Sanctum!!! Won't you come join 😎
These radio shows were the only entertainment before the invention of the old tube analog black and white television boxes. And in my opinion were much better than modern TV of today (2018). These old time radio shows were the big thing around the 1930’s era of time. Turn off all your lights after dark, get comfortable, close your eyes and listen to this form of entertainment allowing your mind to imagine what ever setting for the radio show your mind wants to see. The experience won’t ever disappoint this way. ENJOY.... I enjoy these old radio shows.
MATTHEW PERRIN I grew up in the 80’s and my friends thought I was the biggest nerd because I LOVED these old radio programs! I would buy cassettes of these programs and listen to them nonstop when I was hitting the highway to go home for the weekend! My love for them has never gone away ♥️

Good evening ...Creeps... It is a VERY bad omen, and will lead to a most horrifying fate, if You do NOT laugh at Raymond's (AKA Your Host,The Sanctum Keeper) jokes, and or His humorous anecdotes. You HAVE been warned.
Raymond Massey is my favorite inner sanctum announcer. These are great, I love inner sanctum and many old time radio shows too. Thank you for the upload

@@macm3081 This IS Raymond. Raymond Edward Johnson was the original host when the show began in 1941. He stayed in that role until Paul McGrath took over around 1944 - during the Lipton's run. The series lasted until around 1952. It started its' run on NBC and later switched to CBS.
The 3rd story is very distorted. I thought it was supposed to be the sound of a rough sea with water noises but it carried through the advertisements too. So loud I could barely hear any dialogue. The rest of the stories were very good though. Thank you.
Its sad especially when portions of the episode is missing. Sydney Greenstreet did an episode Suspense The Hangman awesome, but part 2 is missing awesome and intense.
