I'd bet that doll never saw so much love!!!❤ I also have some Midges the one with brunette hair I ventured to give her some reddish orange lips and the result was pretty. On a sandy blonde I gave her a nice golden brown brow with a nicer shape, touched her eyes with a metallic blue for the iris but very slightly then gave her a raspberry coloured lipstick 💄! Damn now im kinda scared of Buying old inboxed dolls because you never know where they were stored or whats in them, i gotta recheck mine because i got a vintage clone Barbie from the 70s in her original box and i haven't opened her when i first bought it at the antique store, after this video i don't think i want to open her. 😂
@@shadowqueen6485 one time I found a piece of corn in a boxed dolls box. Truly you can find anything! I’ve found bugs, mouse poop, mold, food, notes… that’s why it’s important to learn how to restore or wash up your dolls. Because you never know what they seen in that box. But also, if you’re gonna keep a doll boxed, you gotta basically store it safely away where it can get air but not too much to be moldy.lol But I kinda wanna see this barbie clone lol
This is great! I tired something similar to this but it did not work well, so I will definitely try this when I give my crazy midge a makeover. Also you have a good sense of humor. I always liked to make midge as a crazy drunk and gave her G. I. Joes gun, I also thought of Barbie as a snobby Rich lady who would make fun of midge. I have been a weird child. Anyways midge is one of my favorite dolls so thank you for bringing her back to life!

@@myloveylove123I am pretty sure a number 4 has a solid body (so more heavy) and if you can tell depending on the condition a number 4 has little curly Bangs, number 5’s have hollow body’s and frizzy large curled bangs. I hope that helps, I am also bad at telling what numbers are what, it is confusing!

Would’ve been more interesting for sure had I known how to. I have most of all eras of Barbie’s, I’d like to do fashion videos of them all! But where to find the time.

There's was a really cool Benetton store in Washington DC in the Georgetown area, seems to be closed now but the brand still has a website. I miss the commercials back in the day lol 🌻
@@churrocoffee see I had no memory of that brand! It must’ve not been where I was. I was raised in Kentucky so maybe that explains it. But this doll line and doll outfits are all very nicely done. I have no complaints really!
@@gabriellevallons8248 out of alllll the dolls I’ve unboxed, the only ones who have been sus are these superstar dolls, and the one Esmeralda doll i opened who had corn kernels in her box (don’t ask me how). I think your dolls will be fabulous! And if not, I’m here for you to help you clean those dolls!
Thanks! Maybe I'll do an unboxing video for you! I now always put my dolls in the freezer for a minimum of 3 days to kill off anything as one time I bought some thrifted dolls that turned out to be infested with bed bugs

With all the dolls I’ve ever purchased, which is more than Barbie, the only thing I worried about was getting one with a spiritual attachment. As a former roommate was worried of that.lol Thank goodness it’s just me and the dolls now.lol
I have two of the ken fashions - sweat pants\shorts set and the Mimi vice suit fashion.this gives golden girls fashion .I have the pink dress \lavender cape fashion from this line. I agree ken had it better in this line .
YES! The Ken fashions are STRAIGHT from Miami vice. Also their choice to use the jewel secrets Ken with the mullet in them is wonderful lol. I have him and need to review him. But Barbie’s clothes in this line were alright. Kens clothes were really top drawer. But in his defense he usually got secondary clothes or none at all. So it’s nice he gets something nice too lol

Loving the reviews! Keep them coming! I've found putting the poxy legs out in the sunshine for a few days helps to diminish the pox and make things less sticky. It doesn't get rid of it, but it does help a lot
Omg I just unboxed the superstar Ken and I think I got knocked out too by that particular smell! I unboxed the superstar too and she had the chicken pox too. Luckily no bugs or smell tho haha
