0:55 Chickens are kewel. They eat bugs and scraps from dinner on top the kibbel/ chicken feed. Chickens are omnivorous too! That carcass of whats left of the Turkey from Thanksgiving dinner?? If you have at least five hens and a rooster,then they WILL pick it clean! Also to mention the basically free eggs. Daily unless something is wrong with them. Ducks. They are so great. Ducks lay eggs near daily as well. However the fat and cholesterol content is like 50% higher when compared to chicken eggs. Still tastey. Just do not feed them a whole bunch pf fish. You will end up tasting it in the eggs. They do need omega 3 fatty acids. Just with a lot of it the ducks have a hard time absorbing it all. You think Chickens 💩 poop a lot? It is NOTHING compared to what ducks can produce!! They are full of it! Oh and holding and petting one? They usually will not hesitate to 💩 right on you! They also have like "combs" on the inside of their bills that act as teeth to crunch up bugs and anything else that eat. My suggestion is to try not and get Peking/Pekin ducks. They are bred as " meat" birds so they are ALWAYS hungry. Because of this they tend to have weight problems. They get too fat and effects their legs and knees in a terrible way. Just my insights and experiences. 😊
9:21 to answer the question that nobody cared about. It tastes like cornbread. but wet. The best is having cornmeal mush that's basically a brick of grits/oatmeal, slice it up, and fry it so it's crispy on the outside. It's like a sad, corn fishstick with butter and syrup. They sell it at Cracker Barrel, for anyone who wants to suffer I MEAN try. ngl I like it, but I also grew up in Ohio so...........the bar for good food wasn't just low, it was underground. Obviously.
