Just found your video i been searching for a bolt on comp for my springfield xdm elite 10mm. I usually run oolights under my barrels but the one u have on this is in a set location but the one i like the best for pistols has that ability to slide back against your trigger gaurd after u connect it to the rail before u lock it it rides on a slide that goes a half inch foward and backwards. I think its the oolight Knight but i gonna have to take a look to know for sure. Are these caliber specific like when ordering u pick from a list or are they all reamed out to a 45 hole? Been looking for one specifically for my springfield and could never find one cause i kept forgetting the most important word universal. Have u messed around with the size of your gas release point on your comp like if u made one with a oversized hole for the gas to travel upward out the barrel from would it change anything or is it like a plateau once gas gets going upward the hole size doesnt change how much recoil is suppressed or does a smaller opening actually make it hold the nose down better cause of higher pressure or something. Figure u prob tried 20 different hole sizes before u came up with the final product was just interested to know what u discovered cause it seems pretty interesting to me so thought id ask.
Thanks for reaching out! We appreciate your interest in our products. Our compensators are indeed caliber and gun-specific, designed to provide optimal performance for each setup. And yes, we tested the size of the hole for the gas to travel and optimized it based on our testing. The size of the gas port plays a crucial role, and after extensive testing, we found the perfect balance to effectively reduce recoil and muzzle rise. While we don't currently make a compensator for the Springfield XDM, we appreciate your feedback and will pass it along to our design team. If you have any more questions or suggestions, feel free to share!
This explanation exactly describes the issue I have with my Gen1 comp but I never experienced the wishboning of the comp rails, thankfully. I replaced my retention clamp screw twice (about 250 rounds through my PX4 between replacements) so yeah, I'm excited about the Gen2 comp because the Gen1 made a big improvement with my follow-up shots! I love the design and function of this Comp and the subtle change in the flush fit looks so fly! Thank you VPA for standing behind your product! That level of commitment makes customers for life!
Thank you for your feedback and support! We’re confident that the improvements in the Gen 2 comp will provide even better performance and durability. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding as we continue to enhance our products. If you have any further questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out. Thanks for being a valued member of the VPA community!
If you originally purchased a Gen 1 model, a Gen 2 replacement will be shipped out to you this week. Otherwise they will be available for sell on our website in 2-3 weeks. Thank you for your support!
Vantage Point is an absolute great company for addressing these issues...I can't wait to get more gun models for the Streamlight...I just got my M18 version and I love it
Thank you so much for your kind words and support! We're thrilled to hear that you're enjoying the M18 version. Stay tuned, as we are continuously working on expanding our range to include more models. Your enthusiasm keeps us motivated to deliver the best products possible. If you have any questions or need further assistance, don't hesitate to reach out.
Very nice upgrade. Do you know of a holster company for the PX4 Storm Compact Carry and your comp? What about for the same gun with comp and light? The website only lists comp/light for full size vs. the compact used in the vid. above. Thanks.
Thanks for reaching out - we appreciate your support! Check out DME Holsters - they offer holsters for our the Px4 with the TLR7-Sub and our comp. dmeholsters.com/product/vantage-point-armory-px4-compensator-holsters/
Have a Gen 1 I haven’t even mounted because of concerns expressed. I guess I’m out of luck. Not a word about helping out Gen 1 customers who own a junk, dangerous compensator. Not happy camper!!
We are offering a free replacement for the Gen 1 compensator with our improved Gen 2 model. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we're here to help make this transition as smooth as possible. You should have recently received an email regarding your replacement - please reach out with any questions. Please discard your Gen 1 comp. Thanks Carl!
So I have the Gen 1 comp and haven't been able to shoot it yet, should I just get rid of it for the Gen 2? If so am I out 400 bucks or is there some way for me to swap it out? I'm a little hesitant to shoot it after seeing this lol.

I have been looking into it and it’s on the list. It will only be compatible with the A1 frame. That much I do know at this point. The A1 Pic rail is more robust and not in the same location as the OG.
My opinion, this is quick release. The spring release that comes with the Surefire light can be used for this unit but we recommend locking bar with wedge block.
@@surfacegr1nder705 The Surefire X300A has a terrible fit on the P320 without some kind modification, I had to a piece of velcro on the back of the light the get a tight fit
Are you planning any other models like vp 9 ,Springfield hellcat or sig p365? Would love to see one for the hellcat. Another thing about your comps that nobody talks about at all. Is that they are standoff devices. Don't understand why no one talks about it. To me that is one of the most important features. Well anyways, thanks for your time. Stay safe and God Bless.
Thanks for reaching out Billy! We currently have rail-mounted models available for the Beretta Px4 Compact and Full. We are planning to launch a Rail-Mounted Comp for the P365 and P320. More to come - stay tuned!
Thanks for reaching out! Yes, the Walther PDP Compact is in our design lineup. Information regarding launch date will be announced once we are closer to completion.
We appreciate your interest in our product! While we don't have anything in the immediate design lineup for HK....our design team has this feedback on their design board. Thank you!
had a little bit of trouble. but im sure the more i do it the easier it will get. [edit] I got a better torque screwdriver. after setting it to 6in/lbs the screws went flush to the surface of the comp. Used blue locktite but will get green. After 100 rounds I can def feel the difference. I put it on a full size 9mm without the light attachment. Looks cool as heck. Can't wait to try it some more. Great product!
We appreciate your support! Please feel free to give us a call at (260) 478-8722 with any further questions....we would love to provide any additional guidance that would be helpful.
We appreciate your support! Please let us know if you have any questions. As a note, we do not recommend forcing the compensator onto the rail if it does not seem like a proper fit (Px4 molds may vary so the rail-mounted compensator may not be a perfect fit depending on the Px4 you have and what mold was used to make it at the factory). If this were to be the case, we recommend customers contact us and we can assist them with this fitment issue. Thanks again!
Thanks for reaching out! This model is on our tentative design list but we have several other compensators that will be in production prior to this. Stay tuned!
Thanks for reaching out, Angel! For the model shown in this video, yes you need the X300U-A light. However, we do offer a rail-mounted option on our website that does not require a light: vparmory.com/beretta-px4-storm-rail-mounted-compensator/
Thanks for reaching out, Robert! We do offer a compensator for the Px4 Full that attaches via the Rail: vparmory.com/beretta-px4-storm-rail-mounted-compensator/
Hey VP Armory team, I'm newer to firearms as a general, but I have a PX 4 Storm Compact Carry coming in a few weeks. That being said, I was told I should be cleaning my firearm once a month (if you all have a different view in this/any input I'd appreciate that as well). I've seen a good few videos of your compensator being assembled onto this pistol, but I've yet to see how the comp impacts the cleaning process/disassembly. Are there any extra precautions that need to be taken, or any changes that need to be made to the cleaning process after installing your compensator? Thanks for your time and assistance, Jared G.
Hey Jared - thanks for reaching out! Can you please share your contact info? We would love to give you a call to chat about this and answer any questions. Thanks!
Thanks for reaching out, Matt! We appreciate your interest in our product and have passed your feedback along to our design team. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
Dang, now i need a new custom holster! I'm not interested in a light, so the comp only for my px4 is an amazing option. Not sure how I'll holster it securely though lol
Thanks for reaching out, Matt! For the Beretta Px4 Storm Rail-Mounted Compensator Full or Compact - a custom holster is required, or Apply Heat to Modify Existing Holster for PX4 Fullsize. Let us know if you have any other questions!
Thanks for reaching out! No it is still in the pipeline. We will release more info soon about the new models coming out and their expected release dates.
From the reviews of your comps on RU-vid it appears you have a great product here. I'd like to throw my hat in the suggestion arena for a comp for a Springfield XDm Elite 3.8" 10mm ....t can use one, in fact all 10mm can use them...Lol! Thanks Guys!
Thanks for reaching out, Kyle! We have several new models launching soon that are configured with different weapon lights for different firearms. Stay tuned for updates shortly!
Thanks for reaching out! We appreciate your patience. We have several new models in the development stage right now that are nearing completion and will be ready to go to market soon. We conduct thorough testing before taking new products to market. If you follow along our Facebook or X account, you can stay in the know about our latest product updates.
What I wonder the most is if this being a standoff muzzle device matters that much since, as of right now, it only works with the surefire x300, which is a long weapon light and probably already functions as a standoff device in the vast majority of cases.
Thanks for reaching out! Yes we do sell a Rail-Mounted Comp model on our website that is compatible with the Px4 Storm Compact - 9 mm &.40 S&W. www.vparmory.com
Thanks for reaching out! We don't have this in our immediate design lineup of new models but I will pass your feedback along to our design team. Thanks!
Thanks for reaching out! We recommend that all screws must have a medium-strength, medium-to-high temperature threadlocker applied in accordance with their manufacturer's instructions. We recommend a small application of Green Loctite 290 on each screw. Blue Loctite 246, 242, or 248, are also acceptable if you intend to remove the compensator more regularly, but these products are more likely to loosen under an aggressive firing schedule.
So green loctite if you never intend to clean your gun, or the ability to clean your gun mixed with your fancy comp dropping off intermittently. Cool choices
Thanks for reaching out! At this time we do not have plans to make a compensator specific to the TLR 1 HL model. I will pass your feedback on to our design team. Thanks!
Thanks for reaching out! This comp model is currently in our design lineup but it will likely be several weeks before launch. Follow along on our social media to stay in-the-know.
PLEASE!!! Lengthen the comp to a Glock 34 length and add a second port! Better yet, have an optional Glock 17L length and add three+ ports. The current one doesn't compensate well. I like the PX4 full-size comp you made better because it works and it has 2 ports.
I have both the VPA compensator for the Px4 and Glock 19. Are there better comps? Sure, but for a comp that maintains 100% reliability, gives an option to run a light compatible holster, and give some recoil reduction, it's the best option I've found.
Thanks for your feedback and support! We appreciate it. We stand behind manufacturing and offering quality, American-made products for our customers. Stay tuned as we have more compensator models launching soon.
Thanks for reaching out, Jeff! Yes - we are finishing up testing on the Archon Type B Compensator so it will likely be available in a few weeks. Please follow along our social media pages for updates.
