"36 Days Of Type" is a challenge where people create every day for 36 days a typographical design of some sort for each character - meaning A-Z and 0-9. So "N" is just day 14 of this challenge.
Musgrave Texture has been removed by the blender in version 4.1. I think musgrave texture is replaced by noise texture (add noise texture and uncheck the normalize).
Yeah using text as a 3D mesh results in really bad initial topology so using the remesh modifier helps quite a bit. So the remeshing will be used for some of the future letters too.

Every time I try to render this project my whole blender project freezes. Is there any advice you can give to help this render? All of my other projects work flawlessly
