How can I make a choice if it was already destined for me to make this choice if it was destined for me to make this Choice how is it that I have a choice if it's destined for me to make this choice it doesn't make sense so you're telling me I was meant to do a but I chose to do B but I was meant to do a how is that a choice
'Look, see that choice to eat twinkies? At some point a thought process was made to govern them. A thought process was made to watch over watching football, the statistics, to wake up and go to sleep. There are choices running all over the place. The ones doing their job, doing what they are meant to do, are Invisible, you'd never know they are there.'
The whole SimCity needs to be shut down, as opposed to running all these various SimCity simulations/experiments/dimensions/gameplays. Trust and Candy Gameplays within SimCity, Trojan War Gameplays of SimCity, etc., etc.

Time is illusory, just like space, solidity and everything else besides Pure Consciousness. What people call 'movement' is an illusion. Nothing ever truly moves, every moment is like a frame in a television show. When you watch a television show, it looks like you're seeing moving images, but the images you are seeing are not moving at all. You are seeing one frozen image after another in rapid succession, so it looks as though you are seeing moving images (even though you're not). Time is like that. Every moment in our lives is like a frozen image, an eternity of its own. And it is possible to both 'rewind' and 'fast-forward' these frozen images - this is known as 'time travel'. Everyone is Pure Consciousness, which is infinite and eternal, experiencing life in a temporary human form. You can call Pure Consciousness 'God' if you want, but I don't, because the word 'God' has limiting religious connotations that I would rather avoid. Pure Consciousness has free will, but when it assumes temporary human forms (which are us), it experiences predetermined lives. Everything you experience in your life (right down to the most trivial details) was chosen by your true self, Pure Consciousness. Even when some guy on the street punches you in the face. You chose to be punched in the face for whatever reason. I know this is hard to accept. I genuinely do. But it's true all the same. So at the physical level of 'reality', there is no free will. But at the most fundamental level of 'reality', there IS free will.
Neo: But if you already know, then how can I make a choice? Oracle: Because you didn't come here to make the choice. You've already made it. You're here to understand WHY you made it. Such a unique and interesting way of framing future sight and choice in terms of prophecy.
It's quite interesting indeed at this particular controlling program is accepting a offer from somebody it is up to you if you reject it or accept it as the Oracle is already explained here I'm going to give you a piece of candy if you refuse it it don't know all good if you don't refuse it and they have you and assuming that they are able to fill you up because they are thinking you are related as a child's mind because you accepted something from them another formal way of analysing and controlling a individual person
The Freudian Trio, in the Matrix Trilogy: Superego: Order and Dis-Order to keep things as they are, The Architect & The Oracle, respectively. The Oracle wants freedom of choice, within reason for the sake of the Matrix and those within it. The Architect wants conformity and to accept things as they are "meant to be", for the sake of the Matrix and those within it. Id: Driven by the self, wants their own form of order, something new in their image. The Merovingian wants and has his own empire (he has his own faction within "The Matrix Online") and as much power as he can get his hands on within the Matrix, especially by taking advantage of exiled programs meant for deletion, and to manipulate the loopholes/flaws of the Matrix for his liking. Bends it to his will. Smith, more dangerously, wants to re-create the Matrix into a world that he sees fit. Both sow disorder in order to create a new order. Ego: Driven by what others want and/or need, want to rebel against the system that is flawed. This is what the human resistance wants, particularly Neo & Morpheus. They want what is best for both worlds, but with their priorities being to bring peace to Zion. To destroy the Matrix in order to benefit Zion would be potentially disastrous (all those who haven't escaped the Matrix, aren't aware, or have chosen to remain). Even though it's revealed that Neo and Morpheus, and by extension all of Zion, have been through all of this multiple times, it's up to Neo to finally make that choice that, in this series is meant to usher in a new era of peace for humanity. Or is it simply the process repeating itself? Is rebellion and then compromise ultimately a part of this order and thus, is this what the Matrix all about?
this candy scene is quite ironinc, giving the fact that in real life the actress that played the Oracle here died during production of Diabetes. May she rest in peace, Gloria Foster. She was amazing here
Having seen the John Wick movies, I'm staggered at how much Keanu matured as an actor. I forgot just how "bad" he was in the Matrix movies. I guess that's part of what made him so likeable.
Something I noticed in the first matrix Neo was very obedient to oracle and did what he was told. This one, however, he questioned her a little and moved on his own. It's hilarious when he says "I'll sit when I feel like it and he ends up sitting anyways lol!
