@@TheCreativeChica .. I do the same with gifts. If I see something I think is perfect for someone, I buy it and put it away till Christmas. Not so overwhelmed that way!
The POSCA pen is a paint pen- I have a set of them. You have to prime the nub by pressing down until the paint flows into it. One of the ways I use my white one is taking magazine pages that are colorful and drawing flowers on the page and then fussy cutting them out. I have also used magazine pages that have mostly green or fall colors and drawing leaves and fussy cutting them out as well. That was wonderful happy mail! I loved the pins for glue bottles and how she put them into a card with cats on it for you. Enjoy all the goodies- you are deserving of them all ❤️❤️

I LOVE all of the calendars. You have a great eye for color combinations. I thought the black and pink one was striking- love how you used black glitter paper behind the calendar! You have been crafting so much more than I have- we are having to get involved in my MIL’s medical care as her Alzheimer’s is progressing. Sending love and continued prayers for you my friend❤❤

Julie, this is lovely! You are so creative! I was thinking of adding various embellishments such as fall branches, colored leaves, berry picks, etc , so they stick out of all the sides of the structure and create a small arrangement. It would make a pretty fall decoration to go on a buffet table, take as a hostess gift for Tgiving dinner, or even use as a seasonal night light. My head is spinning with ideas. I envy you the variety of items you have at your Dollar Trees. I need to search at ones further away to find similar wood pieces for other holidays or seasons (e.g., Christmas theme and decorate with Christmas wrap, pine boughs & berries). My kind of project! I made myself a plastic envelope template so I could trace it onto my 12 x 12 papers to make 6 x 9 envelopes. It works well but I like this idea a lot more. Fast, simple, and total use of the paper size without any waste. Thank you, thank you!

Hello friend AND Max!! That guy seems to want to steal the show every time you film a video, 😂😂. Those stencils that you have for different shapes, how much do you use them? I was watching a video about making a “tunnel” album, and she had those same orange stencils! I think they would be great if you needed them, but how often does someone really need them? When you said the pincushion is probably like an “intermediate” craft, I said to myself: “well, that’s not me”, 😂😂. I need “beginner”or “easy”. Tfs friend❤- I didn’t hear Max in this video- he must have been curled up somewhere 🙃.
Max actually started meowing in the video right when I was pulling the stencils out. I've had my stencils for decades. I used to scrapbook a lot (something I'd like to get back to) and used these templates for my shapes. Pre-Cricut era, lol. TFW❤

You're so cute! You can do it! 😺❤️The box wasn't hard you just got to measure at least 1/4 to 1/2 in more on your paper. You need that to tuck under, better to have more than less.

I agree with the first comment. That ruler trim is stinkin' cute. The box is sturdy and the height is ideal even for standing spools of thread or a small bobbin box You have such cute ideas, Julie. I like the wristband on the rose pin cushion because I think it would stabilize the be rose during use. The only wrist pin cushion I've ever used is one of those tomatoes and the skinny elastic makes for a loose or stretchy band. You can get it over your hand, but then it's too loose at the wrist and the tomato is flopping all over. Drives me nuts, so I end up taking it off and leaving it nearby. Using Velcro would solve a big part of the problem. Thanks for sharing this! ❤ Cheryl
