Yes, the band A Flock of Seagulls in the song "If I had a photograph of you (Wishing)", Paul Reynolds used it and it sounded so good with the haunting effect which was so rich. 🎉
I’ve used some wall hung rugs. Much nicer to look at and they deaden reflected sound very effectively. There are rug wall hanging kits to be found at craft shops or if you must, the internet markets. Loads of nice rugs to be found at antique fairs etc, just need a good clean. Off cuts of carpet are equally effective and really cheap.

It does not make your sound bigger. It doesn't make you play guitar in time better, and you're not adding anything valuable that a percussionist next to you couldn't do significantly better. If you're playing by yourself, use a damn derm machine so you can stay in better time, focus on your guitar playing, and actually sound good. As opposed to trying to do everything at once, and sound like a crappy one-man band.
There’s a part 1 if you can find it that covers a few items. What you saw was a washing-up sponge cut into different width strips. Make sure you fully remove the abrasive side or peel as much off as you can and mask it with duct tape - it could damage your guitar finish.
I have a drop D capo. I could see how it works when you actually use the capo where you don’t need to down tune the low E to D, but what if you try to play Neil Young harvest Moon where it is played with capo, then you have to tune down the low E to D, correct? The special drop D capo is only good when the song actually requires a capo, correct?
The on screen picture of the BMW chord shows the 3rd finger twice where it should show the 3rd and 4th fingers. I.e pic should show 4th finger on fret 4 string 3.
Nah, he just lamed it. Probably doesn't know the software that well. Welcome to the world of RU-vid experts, ha. What he didn't cover was the very direct way you can manually nip out remaining sounds after a filtering process. RipX is good at this - and a lot more intuitive/easy to accomplish than with RX11, for example.
Theres a song I'm learning called *"Sunflower"* by *"Paddy Sun"* . Its a percusive fingerstyle song that I've got most of down pat, however in this song, there's a section that uses *A# Major 7* like the following. e String = 1st Fret B String = 3rd Fret G String = 3rd Fret D String = 3rd Fret A String = 1st Fret E String = Not Used I'm having trouble figuring out how the hell I'm supposed to be able to use the *"e"* string and the *"A"* strings on the 1st Fret, and the D, G & B strings on the 3rd Fret? Any tips? Sorry I would have used tablature format but it looks like crap in a YT comment lol
