Do you think a Dell xps(2017) with an i7-7700 would work well if I put an RTX4060 into it? Low settings are fine. I dont have any pc to game on, just getting started.
It's too bad the other community of people that need DOS support are rarely represented on YT, namely, old Motorola (and others) radio programming people. A lot of the problem relates to lack of real serial ports.
What was the point of this video? Why showcase something that clearly doesn’t work as relevant content? XP support ended in 2014, so anyone who wants to build an XP gaming rig should stick to a 4790k - GTX 960 at most. Anything newer requires driver tweaking and is hit or miss. One can get this information from a relevant Reddit post or other well-crafted videos. This video is totally pointless, with a massive 12 minutes of bad pronunciation.
I don't just think that the heating affects the speed, I mean you were using a HIKVISION SSD, it's NAND flash chips are probably MUCH faster than that of a USB stick's, so that is another factor to account for.
Find Legacy Update, And Download The Program Into Your Older XP, Through Windows 8 Computer, And Click On The Program, To Start Finding The Programs, For Your Older Windows OS You Have Installed, And It Will Find All Of The System Programs, And System Service Packs, And You Will Be Prompted To Upload Them Into Your, New, Old Windows Computer . . .
I still use it to this day. I use only browser, office and old Autocad on it. No issues, 4 years without reinstall or crash, became lil sluggish in the past few months but nothing annoing.
