The Maroons are majestic and serious hiking/ climbing . You made the right call by turning around . An ascent team should only go as fast as its slowest member . Being aware of everyone's condition is key to an enjoyable experience for ALL. And its nice to see our Fly boys getting a little sightseeing in while defending our great country. Looking forward to more videos from you guys !
I've done other intense hikes before including Via Ferratas. Figured this is a good starting point but it was definitely a lot. Which would you recommend for a medium difficulty?
@@kazimirov217Kelso Ridge on Torrey’s is a really fun class 3 scramble with a small “knife edge” you’ll cross on the way to the summit. Note, once you climb the first notch it’s best to summit and not try to go back down the way you came. Hope this helps!
Medano Pass is right there at the Sand Dunes too, beautiful drive! brings you over to I-25 and then head north to Colorado Springs! Welcome to Colorado!
@@akaztheexplorer5938 I took my Toyota tundra through the pass…the trees and narrow areas gave it some Colorado pin stripes! Haha safe travels and thanks for sharing.
