I attended KC many many years ago. That upper section where the bell is was the original presidents office and surrounding classrooms dating back to the 1895 when it was rebuilt. If you look closely at the bricks you can see fingerprints of students who helped make bricks and build McKee Hall after their class work was finished.
They have a fence around it now. Born and raised here, don't waste your time exploring. Then city is just as disgusting and diseased filled with drug addicts as it was before Katrina. Trashy city . Born and raised here and still feel it's a trashy, pathetic, disgusting city.

States need to STOP treating criminals like children. They should have "NO" rights, and should have to work the fields for crops, and livestock. They should be serving HARD time. IF YOU CAN'T DO THE TIME, DON'T DO THE CRIME !
This building needs to be fixed up and used to do something else. We can't let this icon building get torn down. People by the thousands stop and look at it every year. It would be a great place for recreation, like turn in into an indoor amusement park, or be a headquarters for outdoor recreation, overseeing Ohio's many state parks and monuments. I am sure it would be a great attraction just to go inside of it. I see this icon each time landing on a plane into John Glenn Airport. It better looking than The Gate Way Arch in St. Louis. We cannot let this go to waste and let it be torn down.
I appreciate the video even if a small few don't, urban exploration is awesome and I was hoping to start doing a little myself soon, I got a location picked out and this video really inspired me to follow through, thank you guys. Update: I went to the wagner and swaysey Observatory in cleveland at night... yeah, that wasn't smart, I heard people talking and a metalic bang while I was on the second floor. I was there for about 25 minutes, but it was cool to see all the graffiti n stuff. That place has a creepy vibe at night, and the gunshots in the distance didn't help, so needless to say I didn't go to the basement but 10/10 would recommend durring the day time, night time at your own risk, but make sure you have something to defend yourself, that neighborhood is rough...
Believe it or not, the parking garage of this building was used as public parking until a few years ago. We used to use it for Saints games. When this was built it was supposed to be a mixed-use building with office spaces and residential. I don't know if they ever actually used any of the residential spaces and eventually converted the whole thing to offices.
The gutterpunks run that building, idk if anyone here remembers the railroad tracks by hanks on Saint Claude pre-pandemic but yeah. Same people. That’s not a place to wander

That's a huge complex. I'm thinking there had to be hundreds of prisoners there, maybe a thousand or more. Would be interesting to know the history. Seems like a big waste of resources. Thanks for the video.

Great video! Just be careful approaching the edge of a roof on top of a tall building. I spoke to a lady a few years ago who’s husband was blown off the roof of the Toronto Dominion building in Toronto, Ontario back in the seventies. Be really careful that high up . An unexpected wind gust can be unforgiving!
For anyone wondering, I live in New Orleans and basically this tower became abandoned due to Hurricane Katrina and the city had tried to tear it down but the owner of the building refuses to because it gives him money.
